## What is ShootLedger?

ShootLedger is the all-in-one field companion for freelance photographers — built by a working photographer who was tired of juggling assignments, venue notes, gear lists, and invoices across five different apps.

Whether you're shooting Friday night football, a Saturday wedding, or a weekday commercial job, ShootLedger keeps every detail of every assignment in one place — and syncs instantly across your iPhone and iPad.

Assignments, built for how you actually work

Create an assignment in seconds — title, date, call time, and event start time
Dedicated fields for Sports, Wedding, and Commercial work, each with its own smart gear checklist
Second-shooter tracking for wedding bookings, imported straight from your Contacts

Venue intelligence that gets smarter over time

Save parking instructions, credential pickup, Wi-Fi, and field positions for every venue you shoot
Turn-by-turn directions to the venue and separately to parking
Opt in to share venue details with other ShootLedger photographers — and see what others have already shared before you arrive somewhere new

Never forget a card reader again

Auto-populated gear checklists per assignment type
A serialized equipment registry for insurance and theft documentation, with CSV import

Get paid, accurately

Flat-rate or hourly billing, itemized invoices, and retainer/deposit tracking
Generate a client-ready PDF invoice and a QuickBooks Online-ready CSV in one tap
An Earnings dashboard that shows real gross income, mileage deduction, net income, and your true hourly rate — after expenses

It fits into your life, not the other way around

Add assignments straight to your Apple Calendar
Weather forecasts per assignment for outdoor shoots
Import client and contact info straight from your iPhone's Contacts
Your business, your logo, your invoices — all synced privately across your devices via iCloud

ShootLedger doesn't try to be everything. It won't build you a website or send your clients drip-marketing emails. It's built to do one thing extremely well: keep a working photographer organized in the field and get them paid correctly afterward.
