If I connect to the stores WiFi it comes to a screeching halt. The associates at the store suggest turning off that connection and go with my carrier signal. Still So Slow! I love shopping on the app at home and then using my list in-store. If it had a product location within the app, it would be a time and frustration saver! Overall, it needs work to get 5 stars… ### 2/5 — Can’t find stores *2025-12-09, version 6.4.6* In Santa Fe, try finding stores in 87505 or 87507. Both searches should show all stores in town. I shouldn’t have to guess the exact zip of the stores. It’s been a long time since apps were this dumb. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2025-11-02, version 6.4.6* Had a typo in my email when making an account, and now I can’t use my phone number even though the confirmation email was sent to an address that doesn’t exist. Beyond that issue, this app is clunky and slow just like others have stated. When I type in the brand or item I’m looking for I typically scroll past multiple items that are not even similar before I get to the item I actually want. The worst part is that it resets the list if you go to another scree in the app. So I have to recheck items I already got. Furthermore, while I can enter items in it, it doesn’t show me the current price in the list, nor does it show the isle at my current store so I still have to spend a lot of time wandering around the store looking for items since they don’t necessarily place them logically. ### 1/5 — The worst! *2025-10-02, version 6.4.5* This app is the worst. It only ever works when it wants to. Don’t even try to open it at the store because it takes so long to load anything or it will just completely kick you out. Clunky, painfully slow, and it doesn’t even bother to update properly. Right now I’m staring at last week’s coupons like it’s still relevant. For a company the size of Albertsons, this level of incompetence is beyond embarrassing. Whoever coded this must be interns Albertsons kidnapped from a middle school computer lab, blindfolded, spun in circles, and told to “just figure it out.” ### 2/5 — Slow and failure to load *2025-09-09, version 6.4.5* It is very slow to load at any location but especially in the store. My rewards and clipped digital coupons, when I am able to clip them, are rarely taken. About a year ago it performed much better. The rewards encouraged me to shop at Albertsons. Takes awhile to load, but navigating app is good. ### 3/5 — Ok *2025-06-28* I like the app for ordering groceries, but it often has weird lags where when you select items it suddenly unselects, especially when you want more than one or something. Sometimes you’ll add stuff to your cart and then it won’t be there at the end. It also used to send an email with out of stocks when your order was ready but that doesn’t happen anymore which is annoying. **Developer response:** We apologize. Digital Deals and Points/Rewards are not displaying due to a cut network fiber. My main gripe is when refilling a prescription— I have no way to choose a time or date for pick up. The old app let me choose the date, Monday through Friday, and time for pick up during business hours. All this new app lets you do is “select refill,” and send it in. I have no way of knowing what day my refill might be ready or what time unless I call the pharmacy, which makes me feel like I’m bugging them cause they’re always super busy. Please add a time and date option in the refill section so we know exactly when our scripts will be ready for pickup. With that added, this app would get a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. ### 3/5 — Can’t change my store or State (amended) *2023-05-04* Not the first time I’ve had extreme difficulties with Albertsons app. Yes Texas and New Mexico appear as options, but can’t get AZ by any filter reset. Diddled with this for an hour trying all sorts of settings and resets and reboots. Gave up in exasperation and deleted the account and the app. RATING REVISITED: 3 stars Hmmm. After turning off pop up blocker, the app connected with my existing Safeway account and I could then choose stores in my locale.
