The only thing it does is make you fall asleep at night. Unrealistic wait times with obvious cash grab mechanics built right into it. Prepared to be unsatisfied with upgrade costs, too much and too long of waits to play the game, stupid simple combat, bugs, spending premium currency without consent especially due to misclicks, bad support team, no ability to level outside of daily quests half of which you can’t do yet but can pay money to get, popups as you scroll trying to get you to buy stuff if you even touch well placed icons, bad ui, unrealistic difficulty in bosses only barred by the tier of items which will take you 2 or 3 hours to grind one for like 8 characters you have no attachment to (mihn is pretty dope though.) Devs should feel ashamed of this game. ### 1/5 — At first it was good, now, ehhhh *2022-11-29, version 1.9.0* I've probably spent over $400 on this game, which I regret because as fun as it was in the beginning, they proceeded to need everything down to make it close to unplayable. True shame and a bit scammish if you ask me. They had over a year in beta to make adjustments. I don't like that they got players to pay a lot in the beginning and began to nerf everything in the game 2 months down the line after release making it feel like my money was wasted. Oh well. I'll change this review back to 5 stars if I feel they actually fix something for the better instead of for the worse. ### 1/5 — Devs on vacation *2022-11-16, version 1.8.0* - Numerous bugs - Late updates - Late rewards - always “optimizing” to slow down players ability to play such as increasing energy, customer visit frequency etc… - lvl 60+ player who has spent over 200$ and feels like I am fighting a losing game. - No communication - Poor rewards for their mistakes (A one cent potion and 10k gold) - Expectations overall low for everyone in the game (top guilds down) Response: Games just an empty ship waiting to crash and burn. Don’t let the nostalgia fool you, they are running it into the ground. Doesn’t take much to make people happy, and y’all sure avoid it at all costs. Having login issues since last couple of updates, usually get an error message then it logs in after a minute or two. ### 3/5 — Too soon… *2022-11-04, version 1.8.0* Good foundation but feels like an early access port from the first game(s). It’s still fun to play on some free time, but needs some finishing badly. Non existent marketplace. The ease of accessing crafters (crafting anything whenever as long as the crafter is unlocked)is a step up but constantly funneling gold into them to make them not be garbo is annoying (scaling costs understandable but needs tweaking). Gem sink if you actually want them to reach their most useful… Tutorial needs work, shadow nerfs on boss box/key drops and contents/bps needs balancing. Staff mastery is spears… Fusion is available in workshop but not mentioned. Hero’s available equipment not visible unless you make one of everything and see what can be slotted. Gacha only available to whales, you don’t make enough gems otherwise to waste on it. Missing the mastery of making weapons and armor at least higher quality when completed, baseline. Inability to make true autocraft slots as the previous game. Energy cost for speed ups needs to be adjusted in higher level items. Shameful character customization options. Hopefully there will be other guild activities or goals in the future. Helping each other with donations is the extent of it for now. I would have thought they were building on and expanding from the first game but this, that is not. Not yet anyway. ### 4/5 — Add this plz *2022-11-02, version 1.8.0* I love this game and think it’s amazing but I think it would be even more amazing if there was a way to close your shop so you could get to refresh your store and stuff ### 1/5 — You’re going to lose ALOT of players and money *2022-10-31, version 1.8.0* The increase of energy costs to speed up crafting is going to kill your game. The entire world chat is in an uproar because of it and I’ve already seen several players quit HOURS after the update came out. I was ready to drop a good amount of money into this game because it (was) really good up until this fiasco. Expect many many more reviews like this. 5 stars if you fix it. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous pricing *2022-10-25, version 1.8.0* The cost to upgrade or buy items is ridiculous. 500,000 to get a 4th crafting slot. 60,000 to get a second storage chest or upgrade the current one. Most items that don’t take over 5 minutes to craft (unless you want to spend hundreds of thousands keeping your workers happy every day) will sell for maybe 200 gold if you’re lucky. You can play until your device goes dead and needs recharged and you MIGHT have 40,000 gold. ### 1/5 — Feels like a chore ... *2022-10-18, version 1.8.0* I played Shop Heroes for over three years before getting bored. Shop Heroes Legend feels like a chore after less that three weeks. It started off a bit too frenetically, then settled into a nice pace for several days before sliding into boredom. I lost interest in Shop Heroes, too, which makes me a little sad, but I just don't enjoy either of them now. ### 3/5 — Great template but needs work. *2022-10-17, version 1.8.0* The game itself is fun but you will find yourself bored within a week. There isn’t any means of communication with how they plan on progressing the game or their plans to even finish polishing what they’ve already released. The game has potential, but with no communication or updates this game will not survive long. Be warned, before you waste a dime on this game give it a month. It seems like the development team gave up already.
