I loved the versatility and simplicity of the other app. In addition to locating the weekly ad, I could bring up a copy of my perks card, locate my fuel perks. Last week, at 3:00 AM on Thursday, the weekly ad wasn’t loaded. This app is a huge zero to me. ### 1/5 — HATE THE UPDATED APP *2025-03-03, version 6.0.0* Who updated it to this garbage ?? Can’t do a darn thing with the app. Can’t look at the future week ads on Sunday like we previously could. Can’t easily access coupons and recipes NOTHING. This is complete trash ! Who’s the genius that signed off on this update ? Because they need to be bagging groceries at shop n save. At best. Do better you pencil pushers. ### 1/5 — Horrible! *2025-02-24, version 6.0.0* This is the worst! Works like a 6 year old designed the app. No ability to make shopping list, no preview of upcoming ad, cannot make the ad page larger. Will definitely shop here less ### 1/5 — New app *2025-02-23, version 6.0.0* The app is not working correctly. If I want to see my pump perks, I have to click the link then it takes me to a website that I have to log into. It’s really a pain when you’re on the road. Also went at the gas pump, if I pull up the card on the app, it does not give you enough digits so the gas pump says invalid. ### 1/5 — This new version is basically useless *2025-02-19, version 6.0.0* The app doesn’t include the Gibsonia store. The new version doesn’t allow you to create a shopping list. With the previous version, you could scroll through the ad, tap on what you wanted to buy, and the app added the item to your shopping list. The items in your shopping list were even grouped together to make shopping in the store more efficient. With the previous version, you could preview next week’s ad. This version only allows you to view the current ad, even on a Wednesday at 10 pm and that ad is no longer useful since the store is closed and those ad prices expire at midnight. Also, the new version doesn’t allow you to check your fuel perks balance. They need to go back to the previous version. The previous version was user friendly and helpful to the customer. ### 1/5 — App not longer usable! *2025-02-19, version 6.0.0* Latest update ruined a great app! You can no longer use your username and password, and app assumes that mobile number will match account (set up with home number)! Loyalty card scanning includes a leading zero, which makes it invalid. App does not seem to understand that family may share card - expect only one app to register. No way to sign in now, so mobile app is useless! ### 1/5 — Worse than useless. *2025-02-16, version 6.0.0* Would not allow me to sign in with my existing account. The search function only shows coupons, not products in the store. The “shopping” function just reroutes to Instacart. I’m to having to make a paper list again. It’s hard to see the ad. We don’t get the preview of the future ad. It’s not even worth opening. Will definitely shop here less ### 1/5 — Update doesn’t allow signing in without mobile number *2025-02-09, version 6.0.0* I regret updating the app and wish I could go back to the previous version. I enjoyed the old style of the app, it was simple and I could see the weekly ads, clip coupons easily, make shopping lists, and see recipes. Now I can’t even sign into the app because my account is connected to a house phone that I can’t get any codes on. The new style of things is more complicated and less easy to navigate. I love shopping at my local Shop n Save and now I’ll never be able to click any coupons so this app has totally ruined my shopping experience and I can find no way to get technical help for the sign in issue. I used to always sign in with my email and I don’t know why they’ve taken away that option and assume people who have used their loyalty program for longer than apps were a thing might not have their account associated with their cell phone. ### 1/5 — Hate the new update. I then searched for the term “hotdog“ and was once again told there were no results for hotdog. I can’t log in due to the fact that I have to use a mobile number. SURPRISE! Our account uses our house phone number as it’s in common between my husband and myself. As someone who works on mobile apps for a living, I’m appalled that there are no alternatives. My favorite product was their homemade ham salad. Last time I bought it I took it home and threw it away, it was horrible. I always bought their lunch meat too, always fresh. They are changing brands and have Substituted when I asked for a specific brand. I get an error that I need to enable cookie settings. I don't have cookies blocked for Safari and there are no settings for cookies in the app. So I can't add coupons to my card now.
