I wish you could switch shops no matter if you’re clocked in or not. ### 3/5 — Mediocre and buggy *2024-11-22* Not very happy with how long shop monkey takes to “roll out 2.0”. The my hype a lot of stuff up then you never see it in action. Still very buggy. But they don’t have a customer service line so no support is provided. As a business you can’t wait until someone returns your call to help with something. The camera feature is horrible, won't allow zooming, and any pics you take when the app glitches are lost. ShopMonkey will randomly delete your inspections even after you spent an hour inspecting the vehicle. All pictures, videos and texts just gone. The app will not let you add mileage from time to time, or set the vehicle as ready to go. If you click on someones profile it will randomly take you to someone elses profile and you do an inspection on the wrong car. ShopMonkey also doubles up invoices so you can end up paying twice the taxes before it's caught. It can be infuriating to use some days. ### 3/5 — Ok *2023-02-20* Very hard to use compared to the site. Not to mention it’s cloud based and if there system is down so is your business ### 1/5 — The app functions Limited ability access to technicians *2022-12-11* I’m not impressed or happy with the program/app. I don’t have access to Diagrams Work producers.I can barely access any functions That I need in order to figure out my work time for the day and my total time for the end of the week it does not have accurate labor time for each job what I don’t like the most is the rate for all the jobs I’ve done so far since I’ve use this app always by minutes for example brake pads 48 minutes I think it’s not right or fair. The most pressing issue is that invoices, pricing and quantity can be changed at anytime including after the invoice is created which could easily lead to sticky fingers in a cash drawer. Additionally, there is absolutely no way to bill labor or parts internally for warranty or comeback repairs. Stay away from this software! ### 1/5 — Very Basic. This app is good only for scanning vin or license plate info. Everything else runs poorly. You cannot see procedures or write estimates on the app, organization of the features it does have is poor, it doesn’t show what a client owes after a job is completed, and I’m sure I’ll find many more issues as I continue to use the app. For a service that costs $500/month, you’d think they’d have the budget to make an app that actually makes things easier. ### 1/5 — Great software terrible app *2024-01-18* I’ll start of by saying the software is amazing, clean, organized, easy to use. However the app is terrible, more than half the time when my techs try to upload pictures and notes in the internal notes section it shows on their end that it uploaded but then when they close the app it deletes or never uploads in the first place for that I have to rate one star ### 1/5 — To much fluff *2024-01-10* As a seasoned technician who has used a few different types of garage software I can say this is probably the worst. I can’t see what I finished , what I’m getting paid per line , my productivity. I can’t tell which jobs are finished and which jobs are approved or declined a small barley readable “decline and a tiny check box . The story goes after the customer concern and where is the safety check. I think it’s a whole lot of nothing. Not impressed. Sure would be nice to be able to see my time card and edit or request and edit to the time card for when the app isn’t working or when I don’t have internet to clock in. It gives me everything I need. It is easy to navigate, and there are even still some features that are still available that I will sue you in addition to what I already have.
