## What is ShopNora?

ShopNora keeps a shopping list for each supermarket you use, remembers what things cost, and shows what the same list would cost at your other supermarkets.

There is no account to make and nothing to sign in to. Your supermarkets, products, prices, lists and trips are kept on your phone.

HOW IT WORKS
• Add the supermarkets you shop at, each with its own colour and icon.
• Build a list for a supermarket by searching your products, or by scanning a barcode.
• In the shop, tick items as they go in your trolley. Ticked items move to an In basket section, or hide, as you prefer.
• See an estimated total as you go, based on the last price you recorded at that supermarket, and what you have actually paid so far.
• At the till, finish shopping. The trip is saved in History with what you bought and what you paid.

PRICES YOU CAN TRUST
Record a price for any product at any supermarket, with its date and currency. ShopNora keeps every price you record, so you can see how they change over time. Prices you pay on a trip are kept too, so the next list starts with up-to-date estimates.

COMPARE SUPERMARKETS
On any list, tap Compare shops to see what the same items would cost at your other supermarkets, based on your own recorded prices. A supermarket is ranked only when every item has a recorded price there, so you are never shown a total that quietly leaves things out.

TRIPS STAY AS THEY WERE
A finished trip is a snapshot of that day. If you later change a product, a supermarket or a price, your history stays exactly as it was.

SCAN BARCODES
Scan a product's barcode to add it to your list or your catalogue. If it is new, ShopNora can look up its name and picture from Open Food Facts, a community product database. Only the barcode digits are sent, and nothing is saved until you confirm it. Switch Online product lookup off in Settings and scanning stays entirely on your phone. You can also type a barcode, or add any product by hand, with your own photo if you like.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-in and no server of our own.
• No advertising, no analytics, no tracking.
• The camera is used only while you scan or take a photo of a product.
• Back up on your phone or export a backup to move to a new phone. Restore shows you what a backup holds before you confirm.
• Clear application data removes everything whenever you choose.

FOR EVERYONE
ShopNora follows your phone's text size and its light or dark setting, or you can choose Light or Dark. It works with VoiceOver and TalkBack, with every list action available from the screen reader's actions menu. A step-by-step user guide is built in, under Settings.

Product information and pictures from Open Food Facts are shared under open licences; credits are in Settings, under Data sources and licences.
