I love how I can put things in categories then I order the categories according to the layout of the grocery store. I have different shopping lists based on the store I’m going to. For example, I have a Costco list that is different than my regular weekly shopping list. My only wish is that in the print option there was no heading at the top. It takes up way too much room of the paper which makes my printed list more pages, than it needs to be. ### 4/5 — Love It But Has One Annoying Issue *2024-02-23, version 5.5* I pretty much like everything about this App, however, there is one thing that drives me crazy. When in the grocery store shopping with list in hand, I find that even with the slightest movement the App jumps screens all the time. I have to stop, press back arrows to get back to my list, but then it happens again and again. It seems that it could be tweaked so that it’s less susceptible to movements. Other than that, it’s perfect! ### 3/5 — Don’t Email…They don’t respond *2023-08-13, version 5.5* I do like the app except for 1 thing…a badge number does not show up on the app. I’ve emailed 2x with no response whatsoever. I have all settings correct in phone with latest iOS plus settings correct in app with latest update. I’m not sure why there is no badge showing up on my icon when I have 11 items in 1 of my lists and I can’t seem to get answer from app developer. So many details that are not easy to get the first time nor remember for the times after. If I stuck with it I may have found it great. But life is short. I’m angry that I had to pay for it before I could try it. I thought $3.99 is not so much. Once you've gotten over the learning curve you'll appreciate how easy it is to customize it to fit your everyday shopping needs. In these trying times this app is perfect for all of us who have “stocked up” and now want to make sure that we stay stocked up. Create lists of what you need and inventory the supplies that you have. Slight learning curve but way worth the little effort it takes to get up and running using the app(s) (My Previous Review is below) Both Shopping Pro and it's companion app Packing Pro are simply the best out for what they do. Max customization on how you can set them up. Organize your groceries, gear, clothes or whatever with what you need to buy on your device that you always have with you. ### 4/5 — Apple Watch compatibility please! *2020-03-14, version 5.3.1* I am a big fan of Packing Pro and I have been for years. This app is quite similar and I just started to use it and really like it. What would be a great feature is the compatibility with the Apple Watch. When you pack stuff, it is fine to do it in an iPhone or iPad, but when you shop, it would be so nice to check the items on your Apple Watch. Please! Can no longer recommend. ### 1/5 — I Give It “ZERO STARS” *2022-03-03, version 5.4* One of the most complicated, over-exaggerated list apps I’ve ever seen. The developers were able to take one of the most basic, simple concepts in list/shopping management and make it so “entry-intensive” that it’s not even worth the effort to open the app in the first place. It also FORCES you to use their entries unless you have countless hours to go in and modify everything. The most worthless waste of time I’ve ever seen. I want my $2.99 back!!! It’s a rip-off scam!!! This app shouldn’t even be allowed to exist on Apple’s download content. ### 1/5 — Auto sync does not work with home sharing & different apple IDs *2018-11-17, version 5.0* Would be a more powerful app if one could auto sync lists across family iPhones in a family sharing mode. Being there are different iCloud accounts with the different apple IDs I have not found a way to share lists between family member phones without all the phones operating off the same Apple ID. This app seems superior to some others because it doesn’t appear to have as its mission to datamine user’s behaviour to benefit retailers. ### 2/5 — Delete Entire List Button *2020-01-16, version 5.3.1* Can the “Delete Entire List” button be moved to “Settings”? I often click “Check Out” as I shop to delete the checked items and have clicked accidentally the “Delete Entire List” a couple more times than I’d like to admit. It’s a minor complaint. Besides that I would give this app 10/5 if I could. I love this app otherwise :-) ### 2/5 — Few options for paying the app!!!! *2018-04-04, version 4.4* Does not have any pictures already on their app for the items you want to add to where you have to keep downloading pictures onto your phone pictures just to get it on this app.. I can list the ingredients of the recipes, do inventory in my closet and check off the things I don’t need. The resultant list is a shopping list of needs. This has saved me money and allows me to stay on my diet. Impulse buying is kept to a minimum. If it is not on the list it cannot be purchased. The money I save will pay for my new wardrobe. ### 5/5 — Simple and effective *2025-04-11, version 5.5* I love this app. It’s simple, aesthetically pleasing to look at, & you can easily make a new similar list from a previously used list. I love the alert feature as well and the preset categories which usually has about 90% of the things I was going to put in my list anyway, and some ideas that I didn’t think about that I can use.
