Love that I can add quantities and price. My only complaint is that the app freezes when I try to delete lists. In a hectic month I had about 6 lists. I don't need them anymore. I ended up having to clear the lists and they stay blank. ### 4/5 — Pretty Handy App! *2014-08-12, version 2.2* I like the App. Very helpful for grocery lists & organizing! I make lists for EVERYTHING otherwise I usually forget something. Only problem I found is glitch with adding a CATEGORY "after" an item is already on your list. You have to act like you are about to delete the item before the "category" option will appear. Otherwise you can fake it out by adding a price to your item & "category" option appears. Other than that, app works pretty well! I shop at multiple stores to save money, so I make ALOT of lists & will use this app every shopping trip! Thx :-) ### 4/5 — Ok. But needs work *2014-04-07, version 2.2* I do like that I can have multiple lists, but there are some problems that need work. When trying to attach categories to items, I can't always get to the cats for section. It just disappears at times. Also, after checking something off, I can't delete just the checked items. That would help a lot when I need to go to multiple stores to but things. ### 4/5 — Useful *2014-01-18, version 2.2* This is a useful app. It does the basics you'd expect from a shopping list app. Two things that would make it better are: to be able to edit an item and its price once it's been entered and also to be able to list prices by the pound for things like fruit and vegetables. And for that I like it. It may not be all that pro, but it's good enough for me. However it will take a long time to input all info (including prices) before I can get an accurate budget but so far so good. Very nice look and easy to use in the store. If I offered a suggestion to the developer, an option to have checked items hide is handy for a big list. But that might be against the aesthetics of the UI. What really makes shopping apps hard to adopt, though, is lack of a pick list to generate your first list and categories. That's a much more complex app, though. As it is, this is a fine app - it's made my second screen and replaced my previous shopping app. ### 5/5 — the best *2012-12-03, version 2.2* I really like this app. This suggestion is after using many free shopping list apps. I will stick to this app for my personal use. I will use it but will definitely look forward to options like the ability to tax only some items in the lists, save favorite lists, email, etc. I plan to use this to track price differences between stores. I LOVE having my SHOPPING LIST actually with me at all times 😊 it just makes life easier ... if I visiting my elder relatives, or an ailing friend, I can add things they might to my shopping list (with a notation near the item for later delivery) ... I Highly RECOMMEND this as your SHOPPING APP ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Category not working *2014-05-12, version 2.2* This app has potential of being a good electronic grocery list app. However, when deleting an item, the app crashes a lot. Also, when adding an item the category option disappears 3/4 of the time making it impossible to select a category. All these items are then in a blank category which truly defeats the purpose of a categorized grocery list. Sometimes, if you go back and edit this blank category item the category will reappear again. However, I do not have the time to try and re-edit every item just to see if the category will work on the 3rd/4th or 5th try. Very disappointing app. I will shop around for a new one. ### 1/5 — Irritating *2011-12-22, version 2.2* If the item you add is beyond a certain number of characters the text gets cut off in the list. There is no way to read the entire item unless you hit edit and tap on it. I guess it's ok if you're just buying food, bread, and milk and other items that will fit the list. I shop for sales at different stores and require a brand name and the item name so I know which particular item to buy and it doesn't fit on the list. It's annoying when you're getting something from hilshire farms for example and it cuts off what from hilshire farm I'm supposed to buy unless I go to the edit section. ### 2/5 — App won't work *2016-11-28, version 2.2* Was loving this app until I went to the grocery store to do my shopping with the items I added and as I was getting the groceries I would mark as I got them and the app just CRASHED!!!! 😡😡😡 I couldn't finish my shopping because I didn't remember what was on the list and the app would not let me see anything I put on the list I was so angry. And it's been two days an I still can't go on the app because a big white pop up block keeps popping up and not allowing me to do anything on the app. ### 2/5 — I love this APP..... When it will open! *2015-01-12, version 2.2* I really like how this list app is setup. And I have bought at least 15 list organization apps. I have gotten my various lists and categories set up and now the app opens but none of the lists do. None of the other icons work either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well. The calculator feature is great as is the ability to check things off once you've gotten them. Unfortunately when I open it, a white square appear on the upper left hand corner of the screen that I cannot get rid of. I have had to delete the app twice and reinstall it, which also meant losing my grocery lists. ### 3/5 — Love it but.... *2015-09-27, version 2.2* By far my favorite shopping list app. Worked perfect for a long time BUT for the past few months there's been an annoying problem. When I try to delete a list it freezes so everytime I try to delete a list (doesn't delete anyways) I have to delete the app and go to the App Store and download it again. I prolly do this once to twice a week. Very annoying. Please fix cuz other then that I love this app. ### 3/5 — Great app, but needs adjustments *2014-03-14, version 2.2* I love the simplicity and UI of this app, but I don't like that you can't edit items once they've been entered. For example, say I need 2 apples. In order for the list to add up the cost of your grocery list, you have to know the price of the apples ahead of time because you can't enter the price once you've made your list. It would be easier if I could enter the price while I'm at the store. This part just doesn't make sense to me. ### 3/5 — Like it a lot but... *2013-10-23, version 2.2* I like this app for its looks and general simple usability. Love the pencil look and the way it crosses off an item when you check it off your list, very satisfying. But I don't see a way to clear checked items so I can reuse my weekly shopping list. I really want this feature. Instead I have to uncheck each item to begin using the list anew. I suppose I could check off my list one week and uncheck the next. I would give this app 5 stars if it cleared the checkboxes of a list. I mean it is the pro version. Anybody know if I am just not seeing it? ### 3/5 — Pretty good app *2013-03-12, version 2.2* Seems like a good app, wish I could change background or text to make it easier to see. Would give it 5 stars if I could change that and...I would also like to see a section under each item where I can check mark a box if I have a coupon. How much it's worth and what my current balance is without coupons and balance if I use them. (But listing the coupon value for each item) It would also be nice if there was an option to set coupons to double up to .99 cents. It's nice to keep tabs on my prices because sometimes the register doesn't discount things properly and I don't always catch mistakes. ### 3/5 — Good start, but... *2011-07-22, version 2.2* Not everything is taxable. The tax feature is great, but most grocery items aren't taxable, so it gives the wrong total. It should have the ability to check off if something is taxable or not. Also, it would be great if you had a favorites list. A list that you can just add and check off your most frequently purchased items. Recently just came up with another way of using it works as good as shopping list. I write what I'm gonna do there and have it checked when I'm done. Now I just wish it had somehi g to do with combine with calendar so I don't have to type it twice. When making my list on here, all items are taxed or all are not taxed. But in Michigan food and beverages are not taxable.
