## What is Shopping.List?

Do you make shopping lists and then forget to take them with you? Do you fumble trying to figure out which products have associated coupons? Do you wish you could easily send your shopping list to another family member? If so, this app is for you.

- When you create your shopping list, each item can be saved in your favorites so next time the item can be easily selected.

- You can associate shopping items with a particular store/location and then list only those items when desired.

- You can sort your shopping list either alphabetically or according to the item's category.

- You can reorder your categories so they list in the same order you normally shop.

- You can associate a photo with each item.

- You can indicate whether a coupon is associated with an item.

- You can attach a memo to an item.

- While shopping you can calculate the cost of items including total cost of all items.

- As you put items in your cart, you can check off each item and, upon checkout, delete all checked items from your list.

### 5/5 — Excellent App, and Awesome Support

This app does a (relatively… :-) straightforward thing- help you keep track of the things you need to buy, and facilitate the actual buying.  

It does that well. It has a clean UI, clear preferences, and the response is snappy, so you’re never waiting for it.  This would be enough for a great review. 

I tripped over a bug recently, and for once I used the Help to report my problem.  Renee got back to me surprisingly quickly, and she set about getting the details from me, and asking me to try a few things. 

After a handful of exchanges over the next few days, and talking with another user seeing the same, she found the problem.  A few days later, v.1.45 is released fixing the issue. 

Renee was helpful and easy to work with, and clearly cares about her work. 

AND, she includes actual release notes with new releases, a habit some developers have dropped.   (“General improvements and bug fixes” is *not* a release note, People!)

Use this app.

It’s very easy to add new items to Shopping.List and to sort them for shopping. Also a snap to check them off as you shop and save for the next shopping trip. Really well designed and can be used for tracking your spending. Developer is very responsive to issues and requests. Superior list app!

Used it religiously for almost a year, and loved how simple and effective it is.  Today I decided that I would remove some category tags that I never used (such as “international foods”).  The app crashed and now I can’t even get it to successfully launch again.  Tried restarting my phone to no avail.  I think I’ll have to delete and reinstall the app to get it working again.  Very disappointed that I’ll lose all of the shopping list items that I added to it.  Otherwise the app is terrific.

March 02 update:

The problem was resolved in the latest update and I didn’t lose any of my data.  Thanks, Renee!

I've been using this app for months and I rely on it all the time for my welly shop and for things that I don't want to forget. It is brilliant and so easy to use. I had a suggest which I thought would improve the app and  they added my suggestion to the app. Nothings too much trouble. I just love it.

I particularly like that i can text the entire shopping list -- with memos! -- to my husband. Now he doesn't need to call three or four times from the store "What brand of flour? Where are the raisins again? How many cans of tomato sauce?..." Plus i love being able to remove the items i have already gotten from the list. It makes it very easy to see what's left to get or if i need to backtrack for a missed item. This app has been really helpful!!

This is a very well organized convenient shopping app that I use all the time.  It will work for any way you design it for.  Keeps running costs, tax, a favorite list for re-use.  When you get to the checkout stand, you know exactly what it’s going to cost.  I even use it for birthday or Christmas shopping.  Very easy to use.
