### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-07-05, version 3.0.2*

Been using this app for six months. Works really well. Very good at learning isle order, makes a big shop much easier.

### 5/5 — Clever Solution

*2014-03-29, version 3.0.2*

My list, above all, needed to be sorted by aisle to minimize my shopping time in the stores I frequent. This app has a clever solution: one list, organized or reorganized if need be, by the store I select. It even learnt the aisle arrangement automatically.

### 5/5 — Beautiful App

*2013-05-29, version 2.1.1*

Great shopping App

### 5/5 — 5 stars for Shoppy

*2013-03-08, version 2.1.1*

Great app. The best shopping list app si far. It is simple and highly effective!

### 5/5 — YES !

*2013-02-21, version 2.1*

Simple, uncluttered yet highly effective.

### 5/5 — Perfect Grocery List

*2011-12-24, version 1.4*

Simple, clean, and quick interface. Doesn't try to do everything. Allows you to maintain a list so you can scroll through selecting what you need, then jump back to the need list and shop away. Easy check off, CLEAN list, and excellent sorting. IF you want, allows you to easily add quantities or notes. Author/Programmer does an excellent job of keeping the extras out of the way and at the same time making them easy to access. As I said before - Perfect Grocery List.

### 5/5 — Perfect UX

*2011-07-20, version 1.2*

This app has been perfect. We purchase groceries only twice a month and this app makes it perfect. Most grocery trips are similar, so the fact that it remembers the order is awesome!

### 5/5 — Well Executed App

*2011-05-31, version 1.2*

Shoppy works well, and the customer service is good too. I enquired about having multiple stores with different lists by email and they got back to me within a couple of days. They told me to group my items for different stores together and then go to those stores in the order if the groupings.

For example, if I needed to go to both the liquor store and the butcher then my grocery list would look like:

Night train
Courvoisier
Jagermeister
Beef hearts
Sausages
Lamb chops

I would buy all my booze then go get my meat.

This is kind of a bulls$17 workaround, but it doesn't detract from the fact that this App does work very well for one store. If you buy this app, and you want the functionality of multiple stores then email them and grind their gears about it. Maybe they'll pull their fingers out and add it.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2011-05-04, version 1.2*

Love the KISS design. Have used others and dismissed them. This looks like a keeper!!!! I, too, would like to see the ability to create lists for different stores.

### 5/5 — The best of it's kind.

*2011-04-01, version 1.1*

I have used ShopShop since the App Store opened as my shopping list manager. I never thought anything would replace it until Shoppy came along. I love the clean and classy looking UI that is easy on the eyes and the way the app remembers the order in which you buy things. Next time you populate the list with the same items it arranges them in the exact order. Brilliant! Other apps are bloated and will have you spending more time working with the app than the actual time it takes to buy the items. This is the best I have seen and the smartest way to execute such an app. I would like to see a larger text entry box and the ability to run more than one list at a time. Even though the app arranges things from memory and is very workable, it would be nice to have. This app deserves a design award from !

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2011-03-09, version 1.0*

Simple and does the job.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Easy to use

*2025-08-07, version 3.3.1*

App is easy and simple to use. I like the note taking area also. The app has completely lost my notes and grocery list twice already so because of that I will be deleting it.

### 2/5 — Too simple

*2019-11-25, version 3.2.1*

Every review is positive. I find it useless if I can't make several lists, a different one for each store I shop at.

### 3/5 — Misleading Information

*2021-01-02, version 3.3.1*

I have used this App for several months. It does not remember the order in which items are picked and put items in that order the next time you shop. The Developers claim that to be the case but that is not true. I sent a note to the Developers about this and never received a reply.

### 3/5 — Multiple Stores

*2011-03-09, version 1.0*

First of all, I love this.. Finally a grocery store app that just has the basics that you need. I had a thought though.. If you could have multiple stores that would be perfect.. For example, I might make a list based on the sales stores are having.. So I'd pick up apples and bananas at no frills, but then beef at super store. Instead I can only select 1 store, and pick my items.. This would make it a SOLID 5 star app

### 4/5 — Good but due for improvements

*2013-01-09, version 1.8*

I use this app all the time, but am frustrated at the limitation of only being able to have one list at a time. I'm not sure what the point is of being able to list different stores if you can't have different store lists. Please fix!

### 4/5 — Mom

*2012-03-23, version 1.4*

LOVE this app!!! Easy to use. Notepad on back is great. Only fault - would be nice if it would automatically sync rather than having to email list from ipad to iphone before going shopping.

### 4/5 — One missing feature

*2011-04-06, version 1.1*

Great little shopping list app - I use it all the time. I particularly like the way that it learns the layout of your favourite grocery stores, and keeps them separate, so that it can organize your list in a relevant order for whatever store you happen to go into on a given day.

The feature that allows you to mail lists to other people seems like it might be really great, but for one problem - my wife doesn't have an iPhone, so we can't use it. If there was a way that Shoppy could import a CSV file or something so that you could send a list from a spreadsheet into Shoppy, that would make things even better.

### 4/5 — Almost everything I need, nothing I don't

*2011-04-02, version 1.1*

I've been looking for a straightforward, simple list app since the App Store started. I've allllmost got it.

Shoppy has:
Saved items
Extra notes fields when you need them
Quantity fields (useful for when you need to make sure you get all 10oz of whatever)
Decent-looking interface

Shoppy does not have:
Prices (useless for New Yorkers)
Priorities (useless for just groceries)
Due dates (ditto)
Ads
Stupid graphics

Shoppy needs:
A way to divide items into stores. I can add stores but can't create lists for each one? Seems weird, as I'd like to also add pharmacies and hardware stores, etc. and don't want screwdrivers listed next to bread.
A slightly more decent-looking interface- that's one thing I still like about some of the more robust apps like 2Do- it's prettier and more customizable.

For 99 cents, totally worth it if you're looking for the middle ground between plain old Apple Notes and turbo nutrition calculating, category tagging, price adding, ad-saturated crApps. Keep the updates coming!

### 4/5 — Easy to use on the go!

*2011-03-23, version 1.0*

This is a really good, really simple shopping list app. The best I've seen so far. The only down side is that you cannot run multiple lists at the same time. You are limited to having only one list. Other than that, it's a great app!!

### 5/5 — If only we could have two lists

*2025-12-29, version 3.3.1*

Would be a great update to a fantastic app

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice

*2024-10-04, version 3.3.1*

I needed a simple grocery list that synced with my watch. This hits the mark.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2024-09-29*

I needed a grocery list that synced with my watch and didn’t drop any of items. This works great.

### 5/5 — All I need

*2020-01-03, version 3.3.1*

This app is all i need. I add to my grocery list until I go. Then the app learns the order things are in the store. Easy to use plus so helpful.

### 5/5 — Makes other shopping apps look complicated.

*2019-12-11, version 3.3.1*

I have used almost all of the other shopping/grocery apps on the App Store and this one in my opinion is by far the easiest and cleanest to use.
There are no complicated menus and sub menus and it is so easy to add items to your list in seconds. It is also great to be able to shop from your Apple Watch so you are not walking around the store with your phone in hand.

Top class app to streamline your shopping.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-10-28, version 3.3.1*

Simple.
Straightforward.

### 5/5 — Really nice, simple shopping list app

*2018-01-08, version 3.3.1*

The interface is straightforward and easy to use. I like that rather than forcing you to use a particular way of organizing things, it just lets you keep a running list that’s always there when you go to the grocery store. No need to deal with prices or coupons or categories, which I always found to be too time-consuming for the benefit they offer. The automatic ordering of items is just enough to help keep things organized. The notes feature is also really helpful for keeping track of more infrequent or bulk purchases.

### 5/5 — Simple

*2014-11-16, version 3.1.1*

Perfect for a simple no-frills grocery list. Love everything about it.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-11-14, version 3.1.1*

Simple and no nonsense does what it is supposed to do

### 5/5 — The perfect pick-this-up list app!

*2014-10-06, version 3.1*

Really useful app! The import list feature (share via mail) is really awesome!
