Over the last couple of years, it’s been getting kind of glitchy. For example, it creates extra shopping lists that I haven’t asked for, and when a shopping list exceeds the length of the screen, I can’t see the items below because it won’t let me scroll up to view and cross them off. This app needs a serious update. ### 2/5 — Used to work great *2026-06-23, version 5.0.3* For the past couple years I’ve had issues with the app shutting down when I try to edit or delete an item. It has been having some glitches lately (3/1/26)-can’t move things from one list to another any longer, app shuts off if you try. A few other small issues too. I’ll adjust to the problems because I love the App. Please fix the issue with moving things around the list and making edits. This used to be a pretty decent app, but over the last year or so I’ve noticed a lot of bugs. There’s no need for updates because there’s nothing to improve. I use it daily and have tried all the other apps available and nothing is as simple and intuitive as ShopShop. I keep all of my needed items in several separate lists as well as details like dimensions about things that I have or need. It’s awesome and no BS about it. I’d subscribe to it in a heartbeat just to keep it going and updated. I suspect the developer does an unannounced fix every now and then to keep it going as a couple of new iOS’s broke it in the past but it did start working again in time. I found Apple’s Reminders app a fantastic replacement for Shopshop for the following reasons: - you can access your lists in your other devices, ShopShop never did that. - you can group your lists and collapse the lists so much less clatter on the screen. Process is the same as organising icons. - If you set the app to keep the completed items then you don’t need to retype recurring items. The more things you add, the easier it is to use subsequent times as it will autofill. I will create multiple lists for different purposes. One is obviously for shopping for just regular groceries. But then I make one just for pot roast. So it always has all the ingredients I want for that recipe and when I go shopping, I don’t end up getting home and cursing because I forgot that one ingredient because I forgot to put it on the list.
