## What is ShopTally?

ShopTally — the AI bookkeeping app built for small shop owners. No accounting knowledge needed: say it or snap it, and it's booked.

【Shared Ledger for Your Whole Shop (Pro)】
Create a 6-character share code and your staff join for free — no extra subscriptions. Everyone records sales and expenses, and everything syncs to the owner's phone automatically.
• Staff join free: install the app, enter the code, start recording
• Permission control: choose "Full access" or "Entry only" — with Entry only, staff can record but never see shop totals or reports
• Stop sharing anytime and the data stays with the owner
One Pro subscription covers the whole shop.

【 Voice Entry】
"Got a $300 tip from a customer" — say it and it's recorded, with amount and category detected automatically.

【Receipt Capture】
Snap a receipt and AI reads the amount, date and items. One receipt, three seconds.

【 Ask AI About Your Numbers】
"How much did I make this month?" "What's my biggest expense?" Ask in plain language and get answers from your real data.

【 See Your Business at a Glance】
Income, expenses, profit and category breakdowns in clear charts, plus a weekly AI summary.

【 Export for Your Accountant】
One tap exports a ZIP with all records and receipt photos.

【 Privacy First】
Local-first design: by default all data stays on your device — no sign-up, no login. Data is only encrypted and uploaded when you actively enable Shared Ledger or Cloud Backup.

【Free vs Pro】
Free: unlimited entries, charts and reports, monthly AI quota.
Pro unlocks: Shared Ledger, more ledgers, cloud backup, higher AI quotas.

Perfect for cafés, food stalls, takeaways, beauty salons, small retail, sole traders and freelancers — any owner who'd rather run the business than the books.

Subscriptions are handled by the App Store and can be cancelled anytime in your Apple ID settings.
