## What is Short Watch?

ShortWatch is a wrist-first short-video app with one rule: five picks a day.

Open the app, see today's hand-rotated five short videos. Watch them, or save them, or skip them — when you've watched all five, ShortWatch politely tells you to come back tomorrow. No infinite scroll. No algorithmic rabbit hole. Just five picks, made for the minute or two you'd spend with your wrist raised.

— WHY FIVE? —
Because that's how long a glance at your watch should last. Endless feeds were designed for couches and pockets, not for a 1.5-inch screen on your arm. ShortWatch is finite by design so you can actually put your wrist back down.

— DAILY ROTATION —
Picks are selected once a day from trending short videos in the country you set as home, and stay stable for the rest of the day. Open the app at 2pm and again at 9pm — same five, but the watched count goes up.

— SEARCH ANY TOPIC —
Looking for something specific? Search trending short videos by keyword, right from your wrist. Built in and free.

— PICK YOUR COUNTRY —
Choose from 15 countries in Settings. The five picks come from there. Trying a new country switches the picks; the previous day's stay archived in history.

— BUILT FOR APPLE WATCH —
Vertical-page Digital Crown navigation. Battery-aware playback that tears down off-screen players. Cold-start in under 200 ms with smart caching. No iPhone needed.

— FAVORITES THAT NEVER ROT —
Tap the heart on any video to save it. ShortWatch re-fetches fresh playback links automatically, so a favorite from last month still plays today.

— PRIVATE BY DEFAULT —
Favorites, history, and search history are stored only on your watch. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
