## What is Shortbread?

You found a recipe. It is somewhere below the childhood anecdote, the photographs of the same bowl at four angles, and the note about how this works beautifully as a weeknight supper.

Shortbread saves the recipe.

Paste a link, or share one from Safari, and it keeps the ingredients, the method, the timings and where it came from — laid out to be read in a kitchen, with your hands full and the timer going.

• Share from Safari without leaving the page
• Ingredients and method, set in type meant for reading at arm's length
• Every recipe links back to the site it came from
• Your library is yours — private, with nothing shared and nothing to browse
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics

Shortbread reads the structured recipe data publishers already embed for search engines, so it works on most recipe sites and honestly fails on the ones that publish none. It respects robots.txt and links back to every source.

## Key features
