## What is ShortcutTimer?

Shortcut Timer is a simple timer app that can easily be used for timing anything that requires a countdown.  It has been built for using with Shortcuts, and includes many shortcut actions to control all the available functions.

### 3.0 — 2026-03-25

An improved display with improved division ticks display and configurable second hand display. Light and dark mode improvements.  User selectable dial colours. New user configurable per minute warning beeps.  General code improvements and accuracy.  If you enjoy using the timer please give it a review on the App Store.

### 2.1 — 2026-03-01

Fixes to the timer accuracy and to performance while the timer is in the background. Timer display is kept in sync after a move to the background.  The alarm and ticks no longer pause or stop other background sounds

### 2.0 — 2026-02-18

New intelligent timer display including timer ring visual aid.  New settings including, Auto reset, custom title, custom message, visual ring divisions and more.  New set of shortcut actions for creating and setting up timers. Several  improvements to timer accuracy. Please rate the app and let me know what you think of the update.
