The "paste" URL function doesn't work at all, nor does the custom URL function. The website mentioned didn't exist when I went there and I never got a response from the email that said "feedback welcome". I have waited well over a month to hear a response so now is fair time to warn others. Don't waste your money. (I normally don't like these types of review, but I see no choice). This app should be pulled from the app store. ### 1/5 — Crashes Every Time *2011-11-07* Wish I'd read the reviews. The tracking is only for URL the application creates not the ones you already have in but.ly 2. The login with API does nothing! 3. Tried to paste a URL in the app and it said the URL was too short???? What? Don't buy ### 1/5 — Horrible *2011-12-19* I thought this app would be the integrated solution to my URL shortening nightmare. I was wrong. Install and startup went smoothly. Shortened my first URL and the app quit abruptly. Ansonsten ein super Programm!!!! ### 4/5 — Just what I was looking for *2010-04-29, version 0* Bit.ly is a great service and I use it a lot, having an app that lets me create short urls and check on their activity on the go is perfect. It only supports two services - but I only use bit.ly so that's fine. There are other free apps - but not that have the invaluable facilities to check on activity of your links and lookup links (a great security facility for determining the destination of a shortened link before you click it). Only used for an hour or so but so far very satisfied. ### 3/5 — Need Custom Short URL Support *2011-06-01* Support the new custom short URL feature and you'll earn another star from me. Otherwise it's a pretty decent app. ### 3/5 — Good, but needs work *2011-03-22* Can't track bit.ly links created from Internet but works backwards (can see tracking for app links online) get it going vice versa and also option to delete/archive old tracking data and 5 stars for sure. It just takes longer and longer and longer to load... Eventually even that will be unusable ### 3/5 — Simple and needs a fix quick *2009-12-29* The app is good. It's simple, it works and does what it's supposed to. The ONLY challenge I see is that once you enter your API for bit.ly it still can't track the links you've already created on the bit.ly website. Once this is fixed, this will be a 5 star app. I've tried other similar apps but the fact that none of them can track current links created on the bit.ly website make them all a bit inconvenient. No pun intended. I like this app better than Crunch URL and I'll love it once they make the fix mentioned. The cool thing about this app is that once you create a link on your iPhone, that link does show up on the bit.ly website on your computer.
