It’s hard to underestimate how much my life has improved since downloading this. I have better attention span. I can use youtube for the things I like without getting distracted. I can’t believe youtube doesn’t let you do this on its own app, but thankfully this app allows me to block shorts on the website.

Got this app to prevent my kid from endlessly run shorts.  No dice.   Every channel i see shorts is an option.  Hit the aA, sure enough shorts blocker is active.   Does nothing.

It does exactly what other apps do, except here you have to pay for it. The Shorts tab is still available, and there’s no limit on scrolling. The only thing it does is prevent Shorts from appearing on the homepage, but if you search for something, the results are still cluttered with short-form content. The customer service doesn’t respond.
