I have to do so through the Safari web browser only to not log me in and brings me back to app sign in screen all over again. It’s a frustrating cycle. The app creator should just make logging in easier by logging into the ShortStaff app directly and through a third party like Safari. I don’t recall having this issue when I first sign up for this a few weeks ago. Perhaps they updated this app recently; I don’t know. What I will do is just delete this app from my phone and just forget about it. ### 1/5 — Joke *2023-11-09, version 5.5.2* It’s a total joke there’s no jobs when you search even hundreds of miles away . Seems like a scam ### 1/5 — App was broken for me *2023-10-26, version 5.3.6* Tried to sign up, couldn’t get past the information page- the loading wheel popped up momentarily and then went away but didn’t progress me to next screen. Tried to back up and start again, then it said an account already existed with my email. Went to sign in, got wrong password message. Clicked forgot password button, nothing happened. ### 1/5 — Vague details on shifts *2023-06-28, version 5.3.4* I’ve had one interaction with a member from this app and it was asking me to work a shift less than 24 hours in advance. The shift detailed that it was a serving job and gave me dress code expectations and basic job duties I would be performing. It gave me the pay rate. However, no information on the venue/company or location was provided. I asked the recruiter for this information which he wouldn’t provide me. I think it’s reasonable to have that information before accepting a job. ShortStaf may get more quality candidates if they start adding this information. ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-03-28, version 5.3.2* This app is a scam. There will be a test with odd questions that don’t have clear answers or aren’t objective to Bartending in general. No jobs will be offered but you can get “verified” for $25. So the creator profits from people looking for work while no work is provided. Not only did ShortStaf fulfill this need, they were polite and courteous from beginning to end! I was able to enjoy the party without lifting a finger. Staff were very professional and went above and beyond expectations. I just posted my event with my details and the applicants are flowing in. I can see their profiles and qualifications and choose the best Staf member for my Party. My guests were very impressed and I was able to spend time with my family during a party where I would’ve normally been stuck cooking and tending to drinks etc all day. My experience with hosts have been nothing but pleasurable- Shortstaf does an awesome job monitoring their hosts and hires for the best possible experience on both ends.
