### 4/5 — Need a way to view data later

*2022-04-29, version 1.3*

Like the title says, there needs to be a way to review the data AFTER a live fire session. It would be great if it was all recorded and you could go back to review later. Other than that, it worked great!

### 3/5 — False detections

*2022-02-20, version 1.3*

I use this with a shotgun at an indoor range. I had lots of false detections. Turning down the microphone sensitivity helped, but the app does not yet have modes for indoor and calibers greater than 9 mm.If they added those it would be great.

### 4/5 — Needs audible alert!

*2021-10-23, version 1.3*

It works and it’s free! My biggest gripe is I want an audible alert! I don’t care if it’s from the phone or the watch but an audible alert would be great.

### 3/5 — Great idea but needs some work

*2021-08-23, version 1.2*

I tested live fire drills this weekend. After spending a good bit of time adjusting settings, at best, I was able to get about 80% accuracy. I was drawing and firing a single shot each time. 20% of the time it counted 2 shots. I would all like to see a way to save my session data to my iPhone so that I can see improvement over time.

### 4/5 — No beep?? What am I overlooking?

*2021-08-19*

As the subject line says. No beeps and only vibration. What am I overlooking? No way at the range is that vibration going to be felt by me. I’ve checked the watch and phone settings and it seems it should beep. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Dry fire mode worked great until 1.2 update, please fix!!

*2021-07-10, version 1.2*

I am only writing this as a means to contact the developers as I could not find an email address anywhere.. So even with the mic sensitivity all the way up it only picks up about 50% of my shots.. Before when the app was using the iPhone mic for sound I only had to have the mic sensitivity about halfway up and it would pick up 100% of my shots. Haven’t got the chance to try the app with live fire but I am disappointed that it worked so good for dry fire and now it hardly works at all. Hopefully this gets fixed this app has so much potential! (I am running this app on a series 3 42mm Apple Watch. And no nothing Is covering my mic..)

### 3/5 — Not Syncing

*2021-05-17, version 1.1*

I open the app on my iphone and it tells me to open the app on my Apple Watch. I open the app and my watch says syncing but nothing happens. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong because it’s not working for me.

### 4/5 — Works great for dry fire

*2021-03-31, version 1.1*

This works great for dry fire practice. I haven’t spent much time with it in live fire so I can’t say how it performs on that level.

My only concern is that, when I start the delayed timer, if the watch face goes dark the audible beep and physical buzz are slightly delayed to when the timer starts counting. My times when the watch face goes dark vs when it’s on are longer by about 0.25 seconds. I’m not sure if there is a way to force the watch face to stay on in that moment (I’m running a series 3 fully updated for reference), but if there is a way to keep me from having to keep my hand raised while I wait for the beep it would greatly improve my experience.

### 4/5 — Good but could be improved

*2021-02-04, version 1.1*

I wish the app used the watch microphone, because a lot of the time the phone mic picks up the sound of my gun coming out of the holster as a shot.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Senseless

*2024-09-18, version 1.3*

Waiting for this app for approximately 5 years.
Great Idea!
Never worked satisfactorily.

Very sad.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all

*2022-09-09, version 1.3*

Gave it a good try, spent an hour adjusting the settings and firing live rounds but could net get it to work. I like the idea and would pay good money for it if it was working but this is a fail. I will keep an eye for updates and change my review if they figure it out

### 1/5 — Not compatible with Garmin tactix Delta or any Garmin devices

*2022-07-10, version 1.3*

Too bad it’s not compatible with Garmin tactix Delta or any Garmin devices.

### 1/5 — Wish It Worked

*2021-08-07, version 1.2*

Exhausted effort to try and get this app to work using dry fire. No joy 😫 Filled out the feedback form but haven’t gotten a response from anyone. This app is a great idea, if it worked. Watched a YouTube video, no help. There’s no FAQ, help screens, or troubleshooting guide that I can find. Developer did ask during the completion of their feedback form how much would I be willing to pay for the app in Apple’s App Store. 👎🏻 Nada, doesn’t work. Would buy if it worked. I see others with similar issues. I hope they get the message.

### 1/5 — Won’t work

*2021-05-07, version 1.1*

I can’t get this app to work. It just says syncing with phone and never syncs.

### 1/5 — Couldn't make it work

*2021-04-16, version 1.1*

I messed with the sensitivity at every little level and its either too sensitive or not enough. I wish it worked but it just didn't.

### 1/5 — Does not work in live-fire

*2021-03-02, version 1.1*

Does not work in live-fire mode. Occasionally picks up a shot or two of multiples but mostly none. Works flawlessly in dry-fire mode.

### 2/5 — Not working

*2021-11-27, version 1.3*

I have tried adjusting the sensitivity but I am getting too many false positives to even interpret the data. I think clicking on and off the safety of my rifle is being counted but there are still two other clicks that are unaccounted for. In addition there are four chimes to signal stat, why? Ding-ding-ding…ding. This is very annoying and a single note would have been much better. It’s really not usable for dry fire in its current state.

### 2/5 — About 80%

*2021-08-25, version 1.2*

Tried it with my Sig P228 in dry fire. Had mic setting maxed out and played with the echo settings. Down to 2 green bars on this setting. Gets 7 of 10 shots. 5 of 6. Trying fast drill which is 6 rounds under 4.9 par. Seems to miss 1 of the shots in 6. I’d hope they get it better cause it’s a kewl idea. Running series 3 watch with all current IOS on both phone and watch. Also the timer setting don’t seem to adjust anything on the count down. Least from what I can tell. Good luck!

### 3/5 — Good idea, but should be improved!

*2022-02-25, version 1.3*

Erratic sometimes and still expecting the Indoor function. Are you still in business?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great

*2023-06-11, version 1.3*

Thank you so much I absolutely love this app.

### 5/5 — This app has alot of potential but not quite there…

*2022-05-24, version 1.3*

My biggest complaint is that the noise or tone that alerts me from my apple watch when starting my sequence carries into the mic. Therefore every single time i start there is a “shot” at .3 of a second and then will not even show me my second shot or actual dry fire. This is all with the mic sensitivity at 0…

### 5/5 — Best shot timer app for IOS

*2022-02-17, version 1.3*

This app has great potential. I hope the developers continue updating. The dry fire timer needs some work, but I think they’ll get there. Love that everything is on the watch, but would like to see the iPhone app used for detailed session history.

### 5/5 — BEST APP FOR DRY FIRE TRAINING

*2021-03-31, version 1.1*

I am so impressed with this app. It works flawlessly and picks up all my dry fires. I have cut 1 to 1 1/2 seconds off my draw with the help of this app. You use the watch and app together. Thank you developers for a great app! Don’t hesitate, download it today!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I want looking for

*2021-02-17, version 1.1*

After adjusting the mic sensitivity for dry fire, it worked perfectly. Saved me $130 by not needing a physical shot timer.

### 5/5 — Great Training tool

*2021-02-03, version 1.1*

The dry fire option works perfect and is really useful for training with the ammo shortage right now!

### 5/5 — Perfect start! Keep it up!

*2020-12-17, version 1.1*

I have only used this in dry fire so far and am pretty impressed. Looking forward to upcoming features for sure!

If I had one gripe, it would be that the watch app goes away after some seconds and I have to bring it back up in order to start another run. Keep the app active on the watch face until I decide, please.

Also, add a watch complication so I can get to the watch app quickly.

Lastly, don’t be shy to charge money for this. I would gladly pay $10 for this with the proposed features.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2020-12-05, version 1.1*

Great App! Works Great!

### 4/5 — Awesome tool but just one thing I’ve noticed…

*2023-07-07, version 1.3*

So when initially opening the app on my watch it works great but once I back out and do something else then come back to the app…it seems to have issues detecting shots. This all is fixed if I close out the app and restart it. Other than that this works great!

### 4/5 — Almost there!

*2023-06-18, version 1.3*

Functionality was great! Counted shots perfectly and the watch version was easy to work into my drills. Setting the beginning time to be random between given intervals is perfect. The only other thing it really needs is to send the results to your phone where you can view them later. I would gladly pay for this app if it had that feature (one time purchase, not subscription)
I have a gun gear review YouTube channel and I’ll make a video on this app once it’s more polished.
