The screen goes black and then the app closes. Sometimes when I’m trying to reconnect it has a little fit and everything needs to be switched off. Driving me mad, quite honestly. I’ve gone through all of the recommended steps to remedy this without a fix. Also, when you click to connect to the camera, it takes you to your list of iPhone apps, not WiFi networks. There are two recommendations that I have. 1 is to download more than 5 at a time. That is very tedious when you shoot a lot. The second is to name your ShotKam so it shows up on the video. So many people in my hunting group and when you keep sharing videos and times we forget who’s video is who’s. My date and time are not consistent on the video. My first two shots yesterday were dated the night around 11pm and I was fast asleep. My shooting started at 7am. Consider making a portable battery charger you can mount to the gun when things are slow. The mount won’t weigh much so you could remove the battery when birds are flying. ### 5/5 — Sleek, easy to use *2025-06-09, version 4.1.11* I love how clean and sleek the app looks- everything is super easy to navigate. Watching shots in slow motion is seamless and really helpful, especially for analyzing performance. Plus, it’s great to see that the app is being translated into more languages, making it even more accessible for users around the world. I leave on my iPhone 13 Pro Max display by turning auto screen off while downloading a days worth of videos. New app is smooth and way more thought out. Very professional setting selection. I haven’t had a crash or a Wi-Fi disconnection issue in the 10 minutes of use. That’s a huge plus! The view and download icons in the video selection screen is clutch. Easy downloading with viewing made easy. Now I have save some $ for the 4k version. Would not recommend watching the full day on your phone because it would take a while to download them all, but the app is good for quick reviewing. It does limit to only downloading 5 videos at a time, but that doesn’t bother me. Overall very pleased.
