## What is ShotLog?

Stop wasting sink shots. ShotLog is the espresso dialing journal built for home baristas who want to nail every pull without burning through half a bag of specialty beans. Every time you open a new bag, you face the same challenge: finding the right grind setting, dose, and extraction time. ShotLog makes that process faster by keeping a complete record of every shot you pull, so you can instantly recall what worked last time.

Log your shots in seconds — just enter dose, grind setting, yield, extraction time, and a quick taste rating. ShotLog calculates your brew ratio automatically and tracks your days past roast so you can see how your beans evolve over time. The "Last Good Pull" feature shows you the exact settings that produced your best shot for any bean in your library, so you never have to start from scratch when you rebuy a favourite.

Your bean library keeps everything organised. Add your roaster, origin, roast date, and tasting notes for each bag. See all your shots for a specific bean in one place, sorted by rating. Compare your best pull against your latest to see exactly what changed. Track your overall stats including average rating and sink shot percentage to measure your improvement over time.

ShotLog is designed for espresso and nothing else. No pour-over. No Aeropress. No 30 parameters you will never use. Just the five things that matter: dose, grind, yield, time, and taste. Built with a warm, dark interface that is easy on the eyes during those early morning brewing sessions. Export your data to CSV anytime if you want to take your shot log with you.
