It helps me know where I need to become a better shooter from and helps to work harder so my percentage increases. Can also compete with other people on my shot which makes me want to work harder. I shoot in the gym everyday, it's great for me because it calculates how many shots I put up and how many I make. Tired of your friends not believing you when you tell them how many shots you shoot a day or how many you make download the shottracker app and get a shottracker to prove them wrong!!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Manual function is terrible *2020-09-25* I don’t have a shot tracker of any kind and I just wanted an app that lets me submit my stats the I log in my phone for training, but whenever I use the manual function for the shoot around part of the app, my stats aren’t recognized by the app and it doesn’t get included in my workout section. Also, whenever you submit a stat when logging, and then add another position, the stat you just entered resets. This app was about to be my favorite b-ball training tracker, but now it’s just another useless app. ### 1/5 — Worthless App *2017-09-02, version 1.7.5* I got this as a gift. Tried app on my android phone, and it kept on bugging out. So I tried it on my new iPad mini hoping that would be better. The app does not screen rotate for one. Then as I open the app it goes back to the home screen of the iPad OS. I have to double tap the home button and find the app and select it. This takes 3 tries before the app stays on the screen. I go to set up the tracker get through one screen then it crashes again. I go through the double tap routine 3 times and get back to the last screen I was at. Then it would not stay connected to wrist band. The ‘manual stats entry’ feature does not work well at all. If you add a new line of data for a shot spot, it just deletes all the stuff you put in before and makes you start all over again. ### 3/5 — Awesome *2017-08-29* I love the app but I would just wish they had a little more detail in the application, like maybe a leaderboard for attempts or makes or 3pt shots and so on... it would make the app more competitive and people more determined. ### 3/5 — Good, but not great *2015-08-05* The product itself could use some updates. First off, it rarely counts shots from within 5 ft and it has to hit the net sensor to actually count. This takes off about 10% of my actual percentage. Also, you cannot play music while using shot tracker so no motivation while working out!!! Please fix the music problem and I will rate higher! Thanks ### 4/5 — Love it but.... *2016-12-05* I've done many of blessings t various workouts and I absolutely love them. I'm my own worst enemy so I love to track my percentages and time, so it pushes me to get better. However, far too many times I've lost connection on the app and it jut freezes. The only way to correct it is to delete the app and then download it again. Highly recommend. Doesn't always recognize makes from really close range, but not too big of a deal. Other than that, sensors probably 95% accurate. Seems durable and easy to charge. App designed well with cool workouts, drills, and competitions. ### 5/5 — Great and keeps getting better *2015-11-16* Very nicely designed app overall. Easy to pair with sensors. Provides useful feedback during workouts and drills. Regular updates fix minor flaws and add features. Very responsive support. I love my Shottracker device. The app can be used without it, but the device is what makes it truly awesome. The Shottracker people are great and have put on a couple of super virtual events, including a camp and a competition, both including opportunities to get expert advice from professionals. These events have so far been free. ### 5/5 — Awesome *2015-09-24* Swaggy ### 5/5 — Best training aid available *2015-06-22* I purchased the shot tracker system for my son and daughter to help improve their game. The equipment arrived and we downloaded the app and everything went smooth with the connection. After a week of workouts and drills I must say this is the best training aid and basketball development system on the market today. We recently built a basketball court in our backyard and that helps tremendously. You need a dedicated goal to be able to attach the net sensor. Now my kids can keep up with their daily workouts and see what areas need the most improvement. They love this app. ### 5/5 — Great app *2015-06-03* What a great technology!
