It’s frustrating. It will work fine while mapping my bag for a few clubs and then not read any shots for a few clubs. ### 2/5 — hard to know my distances when you can’t map more than three clubs and only reading 90% of the time *2026-05-31, version 2.6.9* As a 15 year-old who’s trying to get onto my high school golf team that’s a problem cause I’m easily hitting my clubs over par 3’s now with my wedges. ### 1/5 — Won’t login *2025-11-11, version 2.5.9* It simply won’t login. I've a numerous issues with their latest version. The developer responses about contacting customer are laughable. After several problems with my "upgrade" I sent customer service detailed information about my device, specific information about different app problems, and 3 simple direct questions. That was 5 days ago. No response. I'm sure the developer will post an apology and some lame advice/excuse. My advice is to not bother with the free trial because the upgrade isn't worth the hassle and absence of customer service. ### 1/5 — No free trial *2025-10-17, version 2.5.9* No way to try before you buy. Others have mentioned you get billed straight away despite it supposedly giving you a 7 day free trial. I am an amateur and it shows my 8 iron carry at 165 and my 9 iron at 152. There is absolutely no way this is accurate. I want a refund. Also, very little app support. I’ve only received one email for several issues that have not been resolved. The only options are pay monthly, pay yearly, or pay after a 7 day trial. I tried everything, in the sunlight, put a flash light and still doesn’t work. **Developer response:** Sorry about the frustrating experience. I did what the app the told me to do but it would not track. Lots of other reviews say it too but the main problem is that it is impossible for the app to get a reading. 70% of the time it says it can’t find the ball for a multitude of reasons, and when it can finally find the ball and says “ready”, it then is unable to get a reading on the shot. The most frustrating part is that after you finally get it set up and it inevitably fails to read your shot, you have to close the practice session and open a new one, going through the camera set up process again. Absolutely terrible experience all around. ### 2/5 — Tough to get going *2025-06-25, version 2.5.7* Had a hard time getting it set up. Used my small tripod... had a hard time finding the ball... even watched the video a few times to make sure I was doing it right...then every other shot it would stop and say "busy".... not that impressed..I'd pay for it if it was a better design. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-08-20, version 2.8.1* Said that there was a 3 day free trial so bought the subscription and then cancelled it but was still charged. The distances are also very inaccurate and almost always read short. ### 1/5 — Double Charged for subscription *2026-06-23, version 2.7.3* The app was fun to use, I was captivated enough to test it out more with the so called free trial. I couldn’t get the best readings after a day of using so I chose to just cancel my subscription. After I cancelled I was still charged for two different year long subscription totaling over $100. If you feel the need to charge me for barely a day of use that fine. But charging me two time and not having a user friendly customer service to salve any problems just makes me the fool. I’m not sure how it does with distance accuracy, I think it’s slightly elevating my swing speed and carry distances but I’ve never used a “real” launch monitor. ### 5/5 — Amazing App *2025-06-15* It’s real accurate. I bought a $90 screen, and hooked up my phone to an old TV and voilà, a little golf simulator in my garage for next to nothing. I really hope the developers plan on linking this to E6 or similar. We are working on it! ### 5/5 — Good performance *2023-03-25* Update- After getting a new iPhone 12 mini, the performance is much much better. It was picking up 90% of shots from wedge through to driver. The numbers and shot placement are representative of what I was seeing on the range. Much much better Edit: previous phone - iPhone 8. This phone is not fast enough to run this app. Just lags and misses most shots. **Developer response:** Hi Alibizzle10, thanks for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate it. The iPhone 8 is supported but on the bottom end performance wise. If the app was tracking the ball speed there shouldn't be a reason why it wouldn't work on the full version, you mentioned that you were at the driving range and it worked initially, can we ask if you had the towel under the tripod? The overheating is a device limitation and Apple feature, it is to protect your device from overheating which is common with direct sunlight on very warm days. All the best ### 5/5 — Mirror to iPad *2023-01-16, version 2.1.6* It would be awesome if you had a link within the app that would allow you to connect and mirror to your iPad. You would hit the link on your iPhone and plug in the code to your iPad and they would be forever connected with a connect to iPad option when the app is opened. By doing this one can immediately see their data without stoping and either picking up the phone and resetting it or walking around to see it. You.
