I’ve submitted this to the developer but nothing has been done... and I paid the $4.00 price tag. Despite all of the advertisements touting the ability to share messages, it's not something the app can do easily at the moment. Got waves and happy faces from at least a 10 meter radius. However, there still room for improvements like: Choose a desire font color for your message , text message size, text message speed, and different fonts to choose from. Add the ability to simply present on screen in a certain font and size, or to simply grow font to fill screen and it will be worth more stars. (For even more bang let me add a photo.) As is, now, avoid and download the free app that is almost idenixal to this one. ### 1/5 — I think this should be free *2008-08-05* This needs to be free ### 1/5 — Can't deal with very long messages *2008-07-14, version 0* This app is a great idea but in practise is a bit rubbish as it has a very short character limit and won't even display one of it's own example messages ("I see you have an iPhone") in full. Not impressed at all. ### 1/5 — Pretty Useless *2008-07-13* Seemed like a good idea except that the messages get cut off, including their samples. I want my $3.99 back! ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2008-07-13, version 0* I am disappointed with this application. The scrolling character string has to be very short, otherwise only the initial part of the string is displayed. The rest is replaced with '. . .'. Even the sample strings provided with the application have this problem! I can see a use for this application when you want to get information to someone fairly close by but don't want to shout. For example, at my railway club when I want to let the station master know I have 4 seats available for passengers on my train. Other people either hold up fingers (politely!) or just shout. Using the iPhone is a much better solution. I hope the developer updates the application to handle longer character strings. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — New version is so nice! *2023-11-11* I’ve had this app since the App Store launched. It was good, but definitely getting long in the tooth. This new version has updated to work on all my devices beautifully and looks even cleaner and clearer than before! Great job and I love that if I need support, I can email from within the app and they’re very responsive. ### 5/5 — It just works *2019-01-10* I have had this app since its inception. Glad to see new support. I use it at the airport for Uber and Lyft. I put in the drivers name and color the background to match the car badge color. Great for helping friends find you in a crowded room/bar. The others are too fancy and cluttered and awkward. I love how this one has a LANDSCAPE KEYBOARD. Here is what I would like to have changed: Do away with the status bar when scrolling the message. Require a double tap to exit the scrolling so that you can't accidentally exit while holding it up for display just by glancing your finger across it. Other than that, you are golden. They have quickly responded to feedback and improved the app. When i first bought this program, it only would display a few words, and the rest were cut off. It was also buggy..
