Should not have to buy a new phone just to use the app. ### 2/5 — Poor search and confusing ticket pricing *2026-01-11* The search experience is bad. I did not grant location permission, and searching by date and city name alone often fails to return the shows I’m looking for. A basic search should not depend on location access to function properly. Ticket pricing is also poorly designed. All seats appear in the same color, so there’s no way to understand price differences at a glance. There is no price filtering, and you have to tap seats one by one just to see prices. In some cases, tapping a seat doesn’t even show the price — you have to add it to the cart to find out. Overall, browsing and buying tickets feels unnecessarily slow, opaque, and frustrating. ### 2/5 — very frustrating *2025-07-27, version 3.3.5* won’t save an address on customer’s profile so has to be resubmitted for every purchase. can’t choose my credit card as an option to pay even though it is current and set as default payment method on profile. support team replies with ‘supposed to work, ‘ but the concerns have not been fixed ### 2/5 — Facebook login issues! *2023-09-12* I can’t seem to login with my Facebook account for some odd reason? When I try to login it stays stuck on a blank page and doesn’t sync with my account!? Fix it pls!!! ### 1/5 — Deleting this App *2020-03-17, version 2.2.1* Recently purchased a ticket to an event through Showpass which was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. I am receiving a full refund for the ticket from the event organizers, however Showpass does not want to refund me the $1.39 service charge. Honestly, $1.39 is not breaking the bank but in this landscape of a socio-economic crisis I find it in extremely poor taste that a company would be this greedy So by all means Showpass, keep my $1.39 but just know I don’t give away money for nothing. So in exchange I’m going to take a few stars away from your overall score. ### 1/5 — Poor customer service *2020-02-09, version 2.2.1* This app has very poor customer service. Could not get anyone to help me with a problem I had with an event venue. ### 3/5 — Fine, but has a stupid bug *2019-04-19, version 2.1.0* Every time I open this app, I am presented with an alert telling me there are no events in my area. Tapping Cancel just causes the alert to go away and come back. The only way to get rid of it and look at another tab is to explicitly go and search for events in another location. I can’t wait to get my ticket so I can delete it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Frustrating UX *2026-07-10, version 3.6.7* App still won’t autofill addresses, to make a purchase the same information has to be manually entered three times, it won’t save payment info - terrible user experience. Looking at other reviews these seem to be persistent issues. ### 1/5 — Cannot complete purchase *2025-11-25, version 3.5.1* I set up the payment card, but everytime I click on my payment card in the purchase page, it just stuck on the "use another card". Btw this is just a ticket app, why my phone gets hot when I use this app. ### 1/5 — Pointless app *2025-08-08, version 3.4.0* In an age where literally everything seeks to harvest private and personal information for corporate gain at the expense of your privacy, you really would have thought that this app would at least allow you to save routine information you have to enter every single time you book a ticket. Design and optics of the app are fine. But every single time I make a purchase I have to re-enter my details even when I select to save them. ### 1/5 — Now it is awful *2025-07-01, version 3.3.2* I’ve had this app for years and this year it no longer keeps you logged in. When you do log in it does not save any of your information so you must reenter address and credit card every time you use it. Also it’s lost the functionality to pay via apple wallet. I just want to buy two seats to the U17 hockey challenge series and the dam thing won’t let me pick a seat let alone move on to pay anything. What a pc of crap ### 1/5 — NEVER USE SHOWPASS!!!!! *2021-11-26, version 2.2.3* Super slow!!! You can barely get a ticket! As an event organizer, people were reaching out to me because they can’t buy tickets. It also counts tickets in the cart as sales?!?!?!? That way, once someone has added tickets to the cart (and say forget about it), no one can buy tickets until the user empty their cart!!! As the event organizer, you can’t do anything other than sending that person an email reminding them that they have tickets in their cart! Scrolling through all the Van Gogh events is enough to frustrate users from scrolling for events that could interest them. The search function is also very inconsistent in the app. Apple Pay and wallet integration is the best.
