• Filters — Tap the new Filters button to narrow your recipes by tag, food type, cooking time, servings, rating, or calories. Pick "Fish" and every salmon, tuna and cod recipe turns up — even older ones you imported before tagging existed.

• Sort — Order your library by Recently added, Title (A–Z), or Recently viewed. Shoyu remembers your choice and it works right alongside search and filters.

• Plus refinements throughout, including a clearer rating filter and a friendlier moment to rate Shoyu.

- Meet Shoyu's AI sous-chef
Tap any ingredient or step to spot-edit it. Type your change ("2 tsp paprika") or dictate it ("use butter not oil") and Shoyu's on-device AI rewrites the line for you. Split a long instruction in two with a phrase. Works in cook mode too — your edits stick to the recipe after you're done cooking.

- A shopping list that feels like Reminders
The shopping list has been rebuilt from the ground up to feel more familiar and easy to use.

- Tap the recipe photo to add the one you just took
While you're cooking, snap a shot of the dish and tap the recipe's hero image. Take Photo or Choose from Library — your new photo becomes the recipe's thumbnail, so the next time you scroll past it you see the last time you actually cooked it. Capped at 5 per recipe.

- Imports land in your library instantly
Inbox is gone. New recipes appear straight in your recipes list with a "New" corner ribbon that clears once you've looked them over (or after 24 hours).

- From Copied URL
Got a recipe link on your clipboard? Tap + on Recipes — a new option imports it in a single tap.

- Send recipes to friends who use Shoyu
Share any recipe as a Shoyu File — tap Share, choose "Share as Shoyu File", and send it via AirDrop, Messages, or email. Your friend opens the file and the full recipe (photo, ingredients, instructions, tags, and notes) imports straight into their library. Perfect for sharing family favourites.

- Smaller libraries, faster sync
Recipe photos are now stored much more efficiently. Your library takes up less space, iCloud sync is faster, and shared recipes are smaller to send.
