### 5/5 — Thank you

*2024-12-29, version 2.9*

I’m doing amazing thank you so much. Honestly, I wasn’t sure it’s could even make a dent but it certainly has. I’m not going to keep seeing a therapist for the CBT. It’s so effective. With not much effort on my part. This and hypnosis from MindKey. That’s it for me! XO

### 5/5 — Genial

*2024-12-28*

Te ayuda demasiado con temas específicos y a llevar buena salud mental

**Developer response:** Me alegra escuchar que te resulta útil!

### 5/5 — It does help

*2024-12-23, version 2.8*

I haven’t done the full 11 weeks yet but so far I do really like what is offered even for free. The bot is more sophisticated than I was expecting and I really like how informative the beginning was about the science behind reshaping your perspectives to help with anxiety. So far it’s a 10/10

### 5/5 — beautiful helpful app!

*2024-12-19, version 2.5*

this app has been great for slowing down thought and examining them. the layout is so modern and the AI is such a fresh innovative approach to using a CBT thought record. Amazing! I would love to pay for it, but was also wondering if there could be a lifetime payment option? that would be rad! thank you! ✨

### 5/5 — I didn't expect much

*2024-11-04*

I've downloaded a lot of mental health/anxiety apps over the past year or two and very few actually do much. This was great! So supportive, asks the right kinds of questions and really helps put a lot in to perspective.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much, really appreciate your review. Glad to hear it's helping to put things in perspective! 💕

### 5/5 — Therapist in my pocket!

*2024-10-28, version 1.0*

I didn’t realise how useful it would be to write down my raw thoughts and have them analysed so simply and concisely

### 5/5 — Clever and calming

*2024-10-28, version 1.0*

Really innovative way to pause and work through anxious thoughts. I’ve tried this with a few different recurring anxieties and it actually helped!

### 1/5 — disappointed

*2026-04-15, version 9.5*

Was excited until I realized it’s stuck behind a paywall.. of course

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2026-01-07*

This was supposed to be a free 7 day trial but I was IMMEDIATELY charged $24.99. I want a refund!!!

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for reaching out and I'm really sorry for the frustration this caused. All Shroomy plans should include a 7-day free trial and this is the first time I've heard of this issue. A potential cause of this issue which is commonly seen online is users who previously trialed an app trying to start a trial again, which Apple doesn't allow (which is understandably confusing!). I'm not sure if that might be applicable? Either way I never want anyone to feel misled. I can see we've been in touch via email and I've sent instructions for getting a full refund through Apple - do let me know if you have any trouble with this! Once your refund comes through, I'd be very grateful if you'd consider updating or removing this review. It really helps for small independent apps like Shroomy. Thank you for your understanding ❤️.

### 1/5 — Bugs

*2025-02-27*

I loved this app until bugs have prevented me all day to get past Bugs. Keeps saying can’t connect to internet. My internet is working. It’s glitched and I love this but now I’m defeated with my streak

**Developer response:** Hi, I really appreciate you sharing your experience and I want to personally apologise for the bug which you encountered. I understand how disruptive this felt to you and want you to rest assured that we are putting plans in place to make sure this does not happen again. This was due to a temporary outage at a service provider we use, which unfortunately in this instance was out of our control. As a small, independent developer I really value your support and would love to make things right. Please email contact@momentapps.co.uk and let me see what I can do!

### 2/5 — Exercises need subscription

*2025-06-28, version 4.6*

This app was really nice, but I’m currently heavily grieving and the exercises need a subscription. This app is giving me a harder time than it already is irl.

### 2/5 — Rip off

*2025-01-19, version 3.2*

£8 per month? Guys, if you really want to help, make this free, or charge ~£10 per year. Currently it’s a complete rip off for a simple ChatGPT bot.
Turning other people’s anxiety into a money making business is not nice.

Update:

Hi Developer,

Thanks for the detailed response.
There are so many exciting opportunities for innovation and commercialization in areas like music, training, language learning, and skill development - areas where people can freely choose to invest and benefit.

However, there are also deeply sensitive areas, such as depression, anxiety, and other neurodivergent conditions, where people often don’t have the luxury of choice. These challenges can be debilitating and, in many cases, life-altering. Monetizing such vulnerabilities, or turning them into commercial opportunities raises serious ethical concerns.

Given your personal journey, I’m sure you fully understand this.

At the current pricing, it seems that only a handful of subscriptions would cover hosting and AI infrastructure costs, meaning the remainder would primarily be profit.

I encourage you to reflect on your motivations: is the goal to make a difference and provide genuine help, or to maximize revenue?

I wish you the best of luck with your product and its potential to improve people’s lives.

### 3/5 — Paywall

*2026-05-15, version 9.9*

This app seemed amazing to add alongside therapy and doctors visits but I’m out of work and I need every penny for my healthcare. Maybe in the future I can use it.

### 3/5 — 😢

*2026-01-23, version 7.7*

Super cute looking and a great idea but there should be a free option! You’re seriously going to give me financial stress support while charging me a meal or a pack of diapers every month?? Very disappointed cause I really wanted to give this a try 😭

### 3/5 — Recent update

*2025-10-24, version 6.6*

It was great at first and would remember things from at least 4 hours ago but after the update it forgets things from 2 MINUTES ago and remembers things from 2 WEEKS ago so if you reach the conversation limit and have to end it then you are back at square one and have to start all over again it’s ridiculous.

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2025-02-26, version 3.4*

It stopped working after I got a subscription for it. It keeps saying I have no Internet, but everything else is working on the Internet, including Apple.

### 5/5 — Yes for sure

*2026-05-06, version 9.9*

I think this app is a great reminder to not be self absorbed but to practice healthy amount of self care.

### 5/5 — One of the best on the market

*2025-03-24, version 3.4*

There have been a lot of updates to the app in the last couple of months that has really turned this in to fantastic mental health tool. The AI features are accurate but still personable. Many times with the insightful questions I've thought "wow, you really get it" and to someone with anxiety that can be invaluable. The app has really helped me reframe negative thoughts and stopped my catastrophising in its tracks. Thank you.

### 5/5 — This app helps

*2025-03-03, version 3.4*

This app is my bff. Anytime my anxiety is out of control I go to to is amazing app!

### 5/5 — get this app.

*2025-02-07, version 3.4*

I love it so much it actually helps me pour out all my emotions and get it off my chest and it understands me more than I even understand myself and tells me things I really need to hear I just love it so much. They give you a free trial of premium for a year which is so great, I highly recommend trying out the free trial for a year.

### 5/5 — Manages anxiety

*2025-02-04, version 3.4*

Daily highlights are inspired and the ability to look at trends is very insightful. This app is clean, dives deep enough to help, but not so invasive that it’s crippling. Exactly needed in today’s world. Bravo!

### 5/5 — Amazing App for CBT

*2025-02-04, version 3.4*

I never leave reviews on apps but this app really deserves it. Not only does it offer a whole year trial before you’re even charged a penny, it is a very well designed app that helps you change your brain.

The app lets you rant to it, it will analyze what you said, point out what your limiting beliefs are, tell you your cognitive distortions, and then makes you rewrite what you really know is happening.

This is a perfect app for those who think journaling for CBT is too annoying because of all the things you need to keep track off. This is the perfect app for anyone who wants to try out CBT. It’s super simple, anyone could use it.

Big props to the developer, I plan on supporting after my trial. Thank you so much! ♥️

### 5/5 — My Experience

*2025-01-31, version 3.3*

Reset asks you deep questions to find out more about your feelings and current thoughts. Afterwards it breaks down your concerns while bringing to attention the areas that you do well in that you don’t notice yourself. I consider myself pretty self aware already but having that external perspective available at anytime is such a help. Thank you

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-01-18, version 3.1*

I really like this app, it’s the best cbt journal i’ve used so far. helped me work through general worry to a specific focus with good recommendations for resolution and a better understanding of my anxious thought. I felt validated.

### 5/5 — Impressive

*2025-01-15, version 3.1*

I’ve done a lot of expensive CBT therapy and am unfortunately all too practiced in it. This is the cleanest most effective workflow I’ve seen in an app so far.
