**Developer response:** 感谢您的评价~ 其实macOS版已经在开发了。关于要不要开发PC版这件事情，我已经纠结很久很久了，因为涉及到App的定位和开发工作量，后来被我否决，推出了网页端，但是我一直对UI和使用体验不满意，所以又继续思考是否要开发PC版？是做原生macOS还是用Electron做跨平台？在这期间也和几位用户朋友讨论过PC版的事情，大概在7月底，我决定开发macOS版本，第一个版本重点实现：iPhone数据同步+pdf浏览和编辑+Coding Agent+Sidechat等功能。我争取在8月中下旬开发完成。最后，祝您生活和工作愉快！

- iPad Support: You can now use Shua: arXiv on iPad — a bigger screen for a better browsing experience. If you already use Shua on iPhone, we recommend choosing Sign in with Apple after installing the app on your iPad: it will sync the subject preferences, interest areas, followed authors, and favorites you set up on iPhone over to your iPad. If you're a new user, please set up your subject preferences and interest areas before you start. Also, the iPad UI still needs more polishing. Since I personally rarely use an iPad, there are bound to be quite a few places where it isn't optimized well enough. - Paper Framework Diagram (Beta): For some computer science papers, Shua extracts the model framework diagram and displays it on the paper detail page. Please note this is a Beta feature and still in testing, as the extraction algorithm is an ongoing work in progress. Also, not every field's papers include a framework diagram, so this experimental feature currently applies only to fields where such diagrams are common, such as cs.AI, cs.CL, and cs.CV.

Improvements (Refined many CoPaper details, including but not limited to):
- On the paper card detail page, tapping the chat box now shows your previous chat history
- Improved the UI of the buttons and chat input box on the paper card detail page, and fixed a color mismatch in dark mode

- CoPaper paper assistant (Premium, BYOK): discuss a specific paper in depth, or have it analyze the paper stream on your Favorites and Discover pages. It can read a paper's full text section by section, search your favorited papers to help answer questions, and remember key points from earlier discussions so you can pick up where you left off later. To use CoPaper you'll need to bring your own API key (v1 supports the official DeepSeek model API) — your phone talks directly to the model provider, and Shua's backend never sees your chat content.
- Multi-day date range browsing + range "Subject Summary" (Premium): the date picker now has a "consecutive days" mode that merges up to 5 workdays of papers into one browse, with a Subject Summary you can flip through by date — handy for catching up on days you missed.
- Enlarged the tap target for the favorite and up/down paging buttons in the paper detail view.
- "Bilingual" paper display mode now remembers your choice (Premium): besides "Original / Chinese", the side-by-side English–Chinese mode now remembers your last selection, so you don't have to switch it every time.
- Dominant-hand adaptation: continued refinements.

- Polished the tap target and animation details of the favorite heart for a smoother feel.
- Improved the "Restore Purchases" entry point: Lifetime users returning after a device switch or reinstall can now find the self-service restore option more easily.

Papers you like in Shua can now sync to Zotero automatically :)

New features:
- Automatic Zotero sync (Premium): once you connect your Zotero account under "Settings → Zotero", the papers you favorite are synced to Zotero automatically. We hope Shua can become a part of your reference-management workflow.
- In-place favoriting and page-through in the paper detail view: you can now favorite a paper by tapping the heart right from the detail view, plus new up/down buttons let you page continuously between papers.
- "Appearance" dark / light mode toggle: a new "Appearance" group in Settings lets you manually choose dark / light / follow system, instead of only following the system appearance.
- Shared reading position across five browsing modes: we've finally made the four browsing modes and the new up/down browsing mode share the same reading progress, so switching modes no longer loses your place.
- Dominant-hand adaptation: the bottom favorite/skip buttons in Card mode, the detail-view action bar, and the heart button on Grid thumbnails now lay out according to your "dominant hand" preference.

- Subject Summary content now supports copying.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a freeze when tapping a paper to open the detail view in Card mode on iOS 17. That said, this isn't fully solved yet (¯\_(ツ)_/¯) — for now you can't open the paper detail view from Card mode. We'll keep tracking this one.
- Fixed the date picker "Done" button: an uncached historical date required two taps to exit.
