Challenge *2021-04-01, version 1.2.2* Fun game. But I do wonder is there sound? This game on my phone is quiet as a mouse. A couple suggestions: A settings page to allow the user to set default play levels. It's a pain to have to re-select them each game. A "slickness" setting (perhaps with a slider bar) to adjust the speed of the table. This would allow for nearly unlimited variations of game play. All in all a well done game worth the money. Edit: One small issue: The table slows a bit as more and more weghts are left on the table. An empty table takes very little effort to run off the end. With a full load of weights, the same "throw" force will barely get the weight close to the 2 line. Also, the play to 15 level seems to run much slower between screen re-draws. Perhaps these can be addressed in the next update. ### 5/5 — not fancy fun, but great fun *2009-01-02, version 0* This is one of those games that I just keep coming back to. It requires some skill and is great quick fun. Not the fanciest graphics, but who cares? ### 5/5 — A "Wii" game that works! *2009-01-01, version 0* Shufflepuck uses a swipe to launch the puck down the board. This game does it right! Different swipe techniques yield significantly different results. It all works because I feel I'm actually in control of where the puck goes. Lots of fun. I'm becoming very impressed with Giraffe Lab as a quality app developer. The app has all sorts of nice polish on it. If you don't to wait for the puck to stop moving, simply tap the screen again to see the final location. The app is silent so it could benefit by adding sound effects for the pucks sliding and colliding. Pucks fly off into space? the graphics rival Atari at best and there is a serious flaw in gameplay. All you have to do is press down on the puck, bring it up to the middle line and let go...soooooo bad. ### 2/5 — Frustrating App *2014-01-30, version 1.2.0* There is no way to master throwing the weight in the correct decision, when you try to move weight left to right it throws it short. If there was a way to move left to right and aim in direction you want to shoot then flick it for speed this app would be great. Playing the game without bumpers is impossible. I'm going to delete it. ### 2/5 — This is NOT Shufflepuck! *2008-10-23, version 0* Shufflepuck was a classic game for older Macs that was once extremely popular. That game was very similar to air hockey.
