Tasks on everything you map

A job no longer has to hang off an incident. Attach one to an asset, an area, a whole route, or a single waypoint — "repair this fence, here" — so the work is recorded on the exact spot it belongs to, not somewhere near it.

• Raise tasks in the field. Until now tasks could only be created back at a desk; you can now add one from any incident, asset, trail, area or waypoint on your phone, with no signal, and it syncs when you're back in range.
• Set what matters: priority, who it belongs to, and a due date.
• Assignees now show their email address alongside their name, so people with the same name are easy to tell apart.
• Tasks assigned to you appear in your Tasks tab on your next sync.

Waypoints on the map

Mark a specific point on a trail — a gate, a creek crossing, a cut in a fence — and everyone who can see that trail sees the waypoint too. Tap one to read its label and notes. Waypoints show up in the app and on the web map, so the next crew uses the crossing you already made instead of cutting their own.

Also in this release:

• Trail recording is more accurate. Distance and average speed were being overstated on longer recordings; a trail now logs one clean track from start to finish.
• Offline maps report the storage they actually use, instead of always showing 0 B.
• Background recording keeps running reliably with the screen off.
• General sync and stability improvements.
