I have a Toshiba Air Card and have been using the Toshiba app. But it’s very outdated. I happened to come across this by word-of-mouth and I decided to try it and it’s perfect. Works a treat, and I’ve also found out it can work with my GoPro hero too, which is a bonus. It’s quite a pricey app, but I think there’s a lot of work gone into it. Once my seven days free trial is over, I’ll have to look into deciding if it’s worth it I just wish it with a little cheaper. £27 a year is just too much. Maybe £20 for lifetime would be more palatable. Das Forum ergeht sich in viel Posts ohne Hilfe Auf der Website keine Möglichkeit mit den Entwicklern in Kontakt zu treten - die Anleitungen meist noch zur alten Version. I got shuttersnitch 5.5.1 on the iPad, but this version ask around each week or month for eathernet Connection to Check the Abo Status. I found ipa Version 3.3.1 on my pc but this Version do not sync with my flashair wifi sd Card from toshiba. Would be nice if you can help me. For example sending 10 pictures and we can get status like “ sending 2/10 “ or individual progress bar for each images or at least the data size of all images selected and we can see how many data has been sent over the total data like (23mb/109mb) or something similar. Write something good and relax. Google and forum answers and community (code for cheap) support will provide everything. If you have an issue you are either lucky or totally on your own. The app crashes unless I open it first before trying to connect the camera. A friend mentioned that the app now needs to display the 'subscribed' screen before it can be fully opened and used. This is an advanced and highly configurable product with a ton of features. There’s a non-trivial learning curve. Don’t expect to spend 2 mins and be done. But once you’ve got the SW dialed in and configured to play nicely with your unique photographic/network/etc setup, it works flawlessly. As a professional shooter, I use Shuttersnitch to upload in the field from my Z9 via an IOS device to various cloud resources, including FTP sites as well as Dropbox and Google Drive. I’d note that customer support, over on the Shuttersnitch user forum, is outstanding. The developer is dedicated to making improvements and adapting to new cameras VERY quickly and effectively. It’s a great lightweight way to get images on a large screen, wirelessly, and on the fly. Works on Apple silicon Macs, iOS, iPadOS, and even VisionOS. Overall a fast, lightweight but very flexible app. ### 5/5 — Great piece of Software for captioning images on the go *2024-08-27, version 7.1.1* As a sports photographer I was searching for a full iPad-Workflow replacing the laptop. Lightroom mobile does it‘s thing but lacks the ability to add/update most of the IPTC-Data (except of headline, caption and keywords). This is where ShutterSnitch comes into play. It took me a bit understand how it works and I needed to slightly adjust my workflow accordingly. One thing I was really missing was added in the latest update: automatic code-replacement without the need to press the button. I asked for this feature a few days ago and now it‘s there. Now I can add the BIB-Number (or any other text) into an IPTC-Field LR offers, export the image to ShutterSnitch , apply an action that customizes all the metadata (translates the BIB into name, team, etc) ands the image to an FTP-Server in one go. Also the Code-Replacements are synchronized via iCloud so you can switch between devices easily. And all the files you may have created for a different program are fully compatible Worth every penny. ### 5/5 — Z9 usage *2024-05-14* Update from a review of the z6 and it’s abilities from over a year ago. I am using it with my Z9 to crop and edit sports on the fly. I am able to connect my iPhone to the monopod and pull directly into the camera by Ethernet adapter. Shutter snitch connects to the camera in the background through the cable ( a bit of messing with the IP required), and I can crop, and have pre loaded captions ready as I tag. If I have my mifi connected to a stadium Ethernet cable, my images fly out. Time to shoot,tag, crop and send is around 15 sec a pic. Love this program. ### 5/5 — Not for the faint of heart—but an outstanding app *2024-01-30* This is professional-level piece of software. If you’re a low-hours shooter, or unwilling to get under the hood for a bit camera/configuration work, then move along… nothing for you to see here. But with a modest investment of time (about 2 hours in my case) learning its fairly sophisticated features and how to configure it correctly with your particular camera/mobile device, you’ll be rewarded with an outstanding product, period. I’ve just configured my Nikon Z7 to upload selected news images, as I shoot, via my IOS device, to my FTP site. This is exactly what I need, and the app works flawlessly. For users who whine about the subscription price—$30/year is completely reasonable—again, move along, nothing for you to see here. For serious photographers, this is an excellent product. ### 5/5 — Does what is does better than any iPad alternative *2024-01-12* I've been a user since 2020 and Shuttersnitch does exactly what is sets out to do and has a very responsive developer who is active on the support forum. Wi-fi functionality depends on your camera's wi-fi abilities. Some camera makers have more advanced wi-fi than others. The captioning and metadata control, along with the ability to create templates/presets makes captioning a breeze. The built in ftp and connectivity to other file systems from Google drive and Dropbox to Flickr, Smug Mug or Zenfolio should meet amateur and professional needs. Shuttersnitch on an IPad the need for a laptop to run Photo Mechanic for less than the cost of a coffee a month, and constant frequent updates. ### 5/5 — Nicht perfekt aber Immer noch weit vor all den anderen *2023-09-07, version 6.2.2* Ich fotografiere mit einer Nikon und diese App ist die einzige Möglichkeit vernünftig zu tethern. Auch wenn die Verbindung von der Kamera zum iPad ab und zu abbricht, ist es trotzdem noch eine gute Sache.
