I called their help and they said I can’t do that and the only option is to replace it with another one. They will charge every time you accidentally click on picture without asking you to confirm. The website was difficult to navigate, making it a frustrating process to find the desired images. The prices for images were exorbitant, and none of the prices were obviously signposted during her sign-up process, leading to unexpected costs. Additionally, we were not offered any cheaper alternatives. When we decided to cancel our subscription, we were hit with even more unpleasant surprises. We were required to pay for six months of service, despite not wanting to use it for that duration. Additionally, there was a $25 cancellation fee just to terminate the subscription. Overall, I do not recommend Shutterstock. Their business practices seem unfair, and our experience has been far from satisfactory. ### 1/5 — Hate the subscription *2024-06-13, version 5.9.0* I saw the promotion thing that popped up months ago and It didn’t say it was a annual contract and because of that I would be stuck paying it for the year because you can’t cancel unless you go on the website and and pay to cancel and be charged for each month left in the plan ### 1/5 — APP Doesn’t Work on the IPhone *2024-06-13, version 5.9.0* Disappointing, told their support team that the App is not working on the new IPhone, as I mainly work from my mobile. Told me it will eventually be updated. Still no solution, still not working on the new iPhone. So, I am forced to sit at my computer and navigate the site. Also, though I purchase the HR photos, they are still not that clear when enlarged. Shutterstock used to be great. I realized they were double billing me on my PayPal account last month. They were charging me the $29 a month fee and also a $299 a year fee. I’m only one person. No one would answer any contacts to see why I was being billed twice, so I contested the payment on PayPal. Shutter stock blocked my account and refuses to tell me why I have two bills unless I uncontested the $299 fee on PayPal. So unless I agree to pay them twice, they won’t even talk to me. Not even in chat. I wish they could at least communicate, but money is obviously more important to them than customer service. Also often fails to produce images multiple times with just a frozen screen for minutes on end but still counts it as an image against your subscription. I struggled to find images I wanted to download. There were one or two, but I had to plough through lots of substandard and unsuitable images to find additional images I liked, which took up a lot of time.
