Had a 12:50pm scheduled pick up time that I had pre booked a day before. Traveling internationally from Canada, so I pre planned a shuttle/pick up to make things fast and efficient. When I call to find out who my driver is/where there are, I’m told he’s 40mins away/late. Totally unacceptable. So disappointed with this company. And the only way they will issue any sort or refund is if I terminate the the ride and find other transportation. I had to cancel my shuttle due to flight changes and still have not received any refund it’s been over 50 days!!!! Also the second I cancelled the app charged me 5.00$ for a cancellation. So quick to charge yet still have not gotten my money back. This company should be out of business. ### 1/5 — Shuttle never picked me up *2020-03-11, version 5.1.4* I was supposed to be picked up at 5:35 am today to head to LAX. The driver never came. I called the phone number on the reservation and the driver said he was already on the highway to LAX with another passenger. I had to order an Uber. While in the Uber, I scoured the website for help. There’s no customer service number at all. I tried to cancel my reservation and get refunded and I was not able to because “I was already on board” and it was too late to cancel. I called the phone number on the email receipt and got an automated message explaining that Shuttle to LAX “was able to keep rates so low by cutting overhead like having a call center”. I called the driver again and he shouted at me and told him to stop calling. I’d used the service before but never will again. ### 1/5 — Late pickup *2020-02-22, version 5.1.3* For a company that specializes in airport transfers I’d say being on time should be a very high priority but this company has kept me me waiting for 40 minutes for a pickup to catch a flight. Not reliable *2019-12-23, version 5.0.7* This company shouldn’t be in business, they don’t know how to provide service After booking private van to lax 3 days before the traveling date .an hour before the trip they send txt that we are on schedule and 10 min before the pick up time they cancelled the trip and I didn’t know because they sent an email . They didn’t even bother to send text message or call When I called t confirm it was cancelled , I was on hold for 30 min then they hang up They don’t care about people time or they could miss flights I waist there was zero star . They cancelled on us 20 minutes before they were scheduled to pick us up. Luckily we were able to get a Lyft for roughly the same price and make it to the airport on time. Don’t waste your time with this company. ### 1/5 — Horrible booking time calculation *2019-10-03, version 4.5.3* I don’t want to blame the driver. The drivers that I met are the nicest person who are just trying to make a living. The problem is with how the booking is calculated if there is not enough driver or the time is not enough (due to LA traffic) then it should not allow you to book. After I did that, I created an account and logged in. When I logged in, there was no acknowledgment of me being logged in. There was only a prompt to book a reservation. I tried to chatting with customer service to find out why I was not recognized after being logged in, but the responses were condescending. The phone # is bogus. it only refers you to website before disconnecting. And to cancel there is a five dollar credit card “fee”. I should have read all the negative negative reviews before booking. Customerservice is nonexistent. And they still end up getting some of your money after cancellation. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this scammy service. ### 1/5 — Hidden Fees *2025-09-30, version 5.7.8* Shows you $72 in one step and then tries to charge $91 at checkout. This has been illegal in CA for over a year now. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY OR GIVE ME A CREDIT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WAS NOT HELPFUL, UN ACCOMMODATING, AND CONDESCENDING. HE BLAMED ME FOR THEIR MISTAKE. THEY PROVIDE NO CUSTOMER PROTECTION AT ALL. SPEND YOUR MONEY AT YOUR OWN RISK. ### 1/5 — App sent wrong information *2022-05-27, version 5.2.9* The driver didn’t show. The app sent the wrong information about the driver. I called the driver and he said he wasn’t going to pick me up. Calling support numbers just lead you to a recording with no support. ### 1/5 — The worst *2022-01-03, version 5.2.6* Do not use this company. Our flight was running late so I gave our driver a heads up. They canceled our reservation without saying anything, leaving me stranded at the airport with my daughter, at 1AM. Then they wouldn’t refund the fare, only giving us a credit which I will never use since I don’t want to get stranded again in the middle of the night. ### 1/5 — ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WAY TO GET TO LAX *2021-12-18, version 5.2.5* This has to be the most unprofessional, non communicative company I've ever delt with. Made and paid for the reservation 2 days in advance. I paid extra for a van as I had a snowboard bag with me. I landed in Burbank, walked out to the pickup spot and spent the next hour trying to get someone to communicate to me where the driver is and what is he driving. After an hour of waiting and a couple of "I'm checking on it" replies I get this. "Already checked it with the dispatch, unfortunately the driver can't make it and dispatch couldn't find any rescue driver until now so we need to process a refund and please take other transportation. I'm sorry." I booked a ride several days in advance so I didn't have to Lyft premium prices on a Friday night at prime time. It would have been cheaper to rent a car and drive to LAX. Absolutely the worst customer service and company I've ever delt with. When your business is in your name Shuttle to LAX and you can't even do that. Waited trying to get a confirmed car, just to have my reservation cancelled. So I’m writing this review from an Uber that costs me almost double, but at least I’m heading home an hour and a half later. Should’ve know when they have NO phone contact option ### 4/5 — I like it! *2019-07-16, version 4.4.3* I’ve been using Shuttle2LAX services here and there for a few years now. Recently they developed the app and although a few tweaks, it works well. I can communicate with the driver and support easily. I don’t mind ride sharing back when it was a van, now that they have smaller vehicle options I enjoy it more as it reminds me of an Uber pool type perk.
