Many apps have this default and I would value it if you upgraded to that option ### 4/5 — App is decent *2025-01-30, version 5.7.0* Great app for forex and international transactional card purchases. Buying foreign currency is a breeze. I buy items online from all over the world and the virtual cards assist me big time. The physical card is a must have when traveling abroad. Gets rejected by many online sites, rendering it useless as an online payment card. ### 2/5 — 5.1.0 update buggy as hell *2024-06-14, version 5.1.0* Prior to the June update, Shyft is my app of the year as it makes travel budget planning and expense tracking a breeze. The latest update is very buggy, notably that when scrolling down to view cards in glovalview, they flash at 10 times a second so you can’t see the names or amounts. In Manage Cards, the virtual cards disappear and reappear, and the balance of physical cards goes to 0 when in this mode. From travelling to investing , the app can do everything. The IX has gotten horrible. Took forever to buy pounds and then make a bank transfer. ### 1/5 — Terrible Support and No Accountability *2025-11-14, version 5.16.0* The service from Shyft has been extremely frustrating. My international payment was delayed for days, and when I asked for help, all I got were the same copy-and-paste “awaiting feedback” messages. It didn’t feel like an actual human was assisting me. I was travelling and could have easily been stranded because of this delay, yet there was zero urgency or accountability from support. No clear updates, no explanation, nothing. The communication is terrible and the customer service is honestly disappointing. Shyft needs to fix their support and actually help people when things go wrong. ### 1/5 — Downgrade *2025-11-14, version 5.16.0* Why have you dropped the total percentage portfolio growth which one use to see over time from the share portfolio screen? Also can not find out how long after the published payment date it will be available in your account. ### 1/5 — Unable to withdraw *2025-04-23, version 5.10.1* Wow , ridiculous app, couldn’t withdraw cash balance to my bank account , support couldn’t help , they even suggested withdrawing entire amount at ATM !? Error had no back button so have to restart app each time . still not resolved. Embarrassing for standard bank ### 1/5 — Watchlist *2024-07-22, version 5.2.0* I am unable to view my watchlist and I have locked the call more than 3 weeks ago and this issue hasn’t benn resolved all I get is we assure you the matter will be resolved and nothing happens no update in the matter until I contact you and the technical team can’t resolve this and I stay inconvenienced all the time and the app at time takes time to view my information or portfolio ### 1/5 — Overcomplicated navigation *2024-07-19, version 5.2.0* The new changes have over complicated the navigation on the app- a process that used to take 1 minute now requires 5minutes and for people on the go who need to top up wallets and make payments - it is very disappointingly inefficient Simpler was always better and faster ### 1/5 — Can’t access my wallet *2024-05-14, version 4.16.0* I’ve been trying to use FaceID/pass ord to log in for weeks now and get the message ‘an unexpected error occurred’. If you’re travelling, rather go to a real bank and get a travel card from them because it’s been over a month and I’m still waiting for my Shyft card. I can’t seem to get it resolved because their delivery drivers don’t answer and their customer service is nonexistent. Don’t waste your time Nedbank and FNB have better forex solutions ### 1/5 — App is a confusing mess. *2023-04-27, version 4.7.1* . It springs surprises like A notice saying you have not provided authentication when I battled half an afternoon and finally got authenticated. The chat line packs up in he middle of a help chat. You top up your wallet but it takes 30 minutes ( they don’t warn you in advance ) so I am waiting to order a physical card. Considering this app deals with your money it does not seem stable or trustworthy I know I might even get the usual bleat from the developer “ That we are working on it” That is of NO USE whatsoever to me Allow for days to try to learn this thing if you dare. I am going to give up and will try to get my money back before I leave for overseas possibly with out a card because they take days to deliver it. Reviews of apps like this don’t lie It’s ratings are bad. What is it about IT designers? They seem incapable often to design an app Joe Soap can work because they are on another planet. I can even move funds into vault to earn interest! Could the charges be lower? Sure! But any banking institution is like this. I can’t WAIT until they come out with a $ savings account to earn interest! GO TEAM SHYFT! You guys have changed my life!
