Colors are out of alignment by 3-5 pixels in horizontal and 1-2 verticals. Do not use. *2022-12-10, version 85.2* My sister bought this for my mom for Christmas last year, shipping date 12/21/2021. It was too advanced for my mom so she never even opened it until I helped her try it for the first time in November 2022. It broke after printing a handful of pictures. I reached out to Sharper Image customer service on 11/22/2022 with the order number, ship date, item info, etc. and they replied with a lie saying it was out of warranty. The website states it’s a one year warranty. Do not buy. Do not use. Absolute garbage. ### 1/5 — Can’t find printer *2022-01-14, version 85.1* This app will not find my apple phone. Very disappointed. The one thing that’s really holding it back is that I can’t crop photos to fit inside the little red frame, the cropping tool does not work like the one in the Photos app on my phone, you have much less control so you cannot fit pictures into the frame, you cannot print nearly as much stuff as you would like. The good thing about it is that it DOES actually print, so if you can finagle the image into the frame you’re good. That’s the only reason I’m not giving it one star, it actually does what it says, just poorly. Although photos with small print came out perfectly legible so that’s good too. ### 1/5 — I buyed a kodak mini shot 3 c300r that world with that *2021-03-30* I buyed a kodak mini shot 3 c300r that not work with kodak instant Printer but only with this SI Smartphone Printer.. Also when i turn on the machine the first screen is Sharper Image Why ?? Is it a firmware issue?? How i can solve?? ### 3/5 — Originally pleased *2020-10-15* I was originally pleased with the printer and app. It is relatively easy to use. But as upgrades occurred, I began to have problems. As I have a slightly older printer, it apparently does not have the Bluetooth connection; i.e. I have only ever had to use the physical connection. The upgraded app keeps looking for a Bluetooth connection even when physically connected—telling me I have no printer connected. I have to keep restarting the printer to find the physical connection to my phone. I can still print, but it is a major nuisance. ### 1/5 — Piece of Crap *2020-01-21* It’s frustrating. I hate that it took me 30 min to put together and when I’m finally able to print it, it prints in plain yellow then it tells me that my cartridge needs to be replaced. If you want people to have a “sharper image” then actually put the work into it that way people like me don’t spend money on this crap. On the other hand, the test photo is beautiful. Just not anyone I know. Downloaded the app and the app glitches and freezes. Now that they changed the app it prints awfully with wierd black lines and a repeat of the bottom of the image at the top. The ink looks bad too. And not to mention the bad bluetooth connection. No customer service, no go. ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2025-03-09* The first photo I printed? Worked amazing! No issues at all. Now I am trying to print something? Horrible. The device only stays powered on for about 10 seconds (while plugged in) and I will finally get it connected to bluetooth and it’ll shut off. I cannot go fast enough to print anything without it shutting off. The last time I tried to use it, it quit working halfway through and left the paper hanging out, but stuck inside the printer. This printer is just like my old Kodak one I had that I also loved but unfortunately went with a specific camera...a very long time ago... I haven’t had any issue finding my pictures which are sorted by date, whether downloaded or taken.
