### 2/5 — BEWARE what you share!!!

*2021-10-22, version 4.2.1*

I signed up for Sibly thinking they would help a ton with having someone to talk to. For 46$ a WEEK that is to be expected. They were reasonably helpful and always got back to me. However I had to consistently voice what I was looking for was not just them parroting back to me. Things were going well until one day I had a severe anxiety symptom I found very concerning. I told Sibly I did not need their help with this, and how the receptionists at my doctor’s office were giving me anxiety. I clarified I was getting the help I needed and had talked with other providers and who said it wasn’t an immediate concern. I had no history of mentioning anything remotely concerning, and they helped me. I thought all was well. the next day a lead coach reached out to me out of the blue saying they’d need to talk with me. I read reviews from the App Store and knew this meant the end of care. They made me wait for over 24 hours and said I couldn’t talk to anyone else in the meantime. I ended care immediately. I found a new website, a better one, called iPrevail, who, for 9.99 a month, have unlimited messaging features with trained people responding right away. Or you can get 90 minutes a day of chatting FOR FREE. SO much better than Sibly already. Would highly recommend NOT using this especially if you’re going through a rough time.

### 2/5 — Not a wellness app

*2021-09-13, version 4.1.0*

This app was advertised to me as a wellness app with reps who would help you put together a plan for health and wellness. Instead they just keep asking questions and validating what I say over and over with no end in the conversation. I used to be a counselor for Crisis Text Line so I know how it works, but with no work to end the questioning and create a plan, it’s just not helpful to me. For someone who just needs someone to talk with it could be useful.

### 5/5 — THIS IS HOW MENTAL HEALTH IS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!

*2021-05-26, version 2.1.12*

I want to believe that everyone has access to mental health services on demand. But good luck finding help for yourself or a family member when nobody is available in your area. Talkspace? Nope. Lyra? Nope. All take time and can’t do ASAP. Sibly is pretty awesome and ALWAYS available. THIS is how you deliver care. Idk how they do it, but it works!!!!!! Wow!!!!!

### 1/5 — Help!

*2021-04-16, version 2.0.12*

I don’t know how i can get that code?

### 5/5 — Works great alongside therapy

*2020-11-29, version 2.0.9*

I’ve used this app in the past and I reinstalled it a few months ago. If you are looking for someone to talk to or even to organize your thoughts, this is a great app. I suffer from bipolar, ptsd, and a variety of other mental illnesses. I can’t expect my therapist to always be there so this is a great way to track my moods. It is also great to organize my thoughts and struggles. I’m not great at talking about how I feel and this app helps a lot with that. Typically what happens is that you will send a message and that message is typically rewritten back to you much more eloquently. You may have the occasional feedback question but mostly it’s all what you have said. For me this is great to investigate my thoughts and feelings and translate them. I do not recommend this app if you are looking for an in-depth conversation about what’s going on with you. Nor will they tell you what to do or guide you on any path. That’s where therapy comes in. If you need guided therapy or someone to help you through a struggle this isn’t it. That being said I find ranting on this app helpful because reading back what I’ve said in a nutshell can give me perspective on if I am being ridiculous or not. My biggest advice for this app is to use it with therapy to help you meet your therapy goals or to keep your thoughts organized for your therapist. Otherwise it can be frustrating to not get the feedback you are looking for.

### 1/5 — Why it is not public?

*2020-11-02, version 2.0.7*

I listened to one of the owner of the app. He said that the purpose of this app is to be able to talk to someone 24/7. Since this is the purpose, why the app requires a code from an organization to be able to register? I am really disappointed, you guys should provide the whole steps for the normal person (who knows nothing) to be able to register in the description.

Thanks

### 1/5 — Ridiculously useless without some external referral source

*2020-10-08, version 2.0.7*

Offers nothing unless supported from somewhere....

### 1/5 — Quality has gone down drastically

*2020-07-07, version 2.0.3*

The quality of the service has gone down drastically in the last two months. I’ve been happily using the service since March of 2019 until recently.

It is so sad because it used to be wonderful, the coaches really read what you would type and remember things you had mentioned in the past.

Lately, you literally have to ask the Sibly coaches to do their jobs. Ask them to read your responses again because they clearly just picked out a couple of keywords and responded to them. Multiple times, consistently throughout many conversations.

You can kind of accept that from a friend if you’re always leaning on them for emotional support but this is a service you are paying real money for.

### 4/5 — 24 hours and feeling better already

*2020-05-23, version 2.0.1*

So far I’ve been using Sibly app for about 24 hours and have found the coaches to be very helpful. I’m feeling motivated to set small goals for myself again, and feeling better overall with my mental health and wellness. I love the convenience of everything on my schedule to pick and choose when I sign in to chat, and knowing the coaches are always there to chat with is the best part. Thanks Sibly!

### 5/5 — This App is a Game-Changer

*2020-05-20, version 2.0.1*

I have never loved an app so much. It’s a different kind of love, it is a perfect way to be able to reach out to a human person, a human coach, a human connection, for guidance and wisdom in conquering life’s situations in an easy and effective way. The coaches here are stellar, listening actively and responding perfectly to each individual situation and message, while also providing excellent prompts and questions to really help you identify the core issue.
Needless to say, I am so glad my employer utilizes and provides/supports a service like this.
This is a life changer.
