The app is fun and scrolls just like tik tok. However it absolutely needs a search feature. You just endlessly scroll through a lot of things you’re not really interested in. Also needs a save/favorite item feature or a categories feature so you can organize things you like. Right now there’s only a “like” option which just puts everything you like together. I noticed the video quality on here is significantly worse than the videos I see on tik tok, even the videos that are high quality still aren’t as sharp as they could be. I’m pretty niche in interests compared to the offerings i saw, i only saw one thing i was kind of interested in and i didn’t feel confident id have something theyd want in return. This app is a game changer! Even though this is a newly launched app, there is an extremely vibrant and friendly community with a user-friendly interface. Sibs is like Tik Tok for trade. You can connect with people and find things you want. Sibs is just starting out but is growing everyday. Sustainability means using things we already have rather than always getting new things. It takes the best elements of tik tok and combines it with online shopping in the best way (without the money!). I’m seeing items that I never knew I needed, and that makes it even better! Upon scrolling through the items- it crashed and kept crashing thereafter until it refused to load- ever again. I was actually excited about the concept…oh, well. Wouldn’t even upload the books I was offering to trade. Not worth your time. ### 1/5 — No way to search what you want *2023-12-09, version 1.0.103* This is the first trade app I’ve dl. Its trying too hard to be tiktok and it’s pretty useless. I’ll keep trying it maybe it’s new and still improving. ### 1/5 — Fun idea, awful execution. *2023-11-12, version 1.0.101* Love the idea of bartering in a moment where resale apps are near useless to buy and sell stuff. But who’s big brain idea was it to make a TikTok clone? It was mostly random dropship companies advertising their junk, and no search function so you’re forced to wade through untold amounts of garbage to find anything you’re interested in. Amazing that in 2023 companies are still trying to clone the most popular social media app of the time, in the hopes that it will capture enough market share to be bought out by a larger player; not realizing it’s a losing strategy. ### 2/5 — This app is dead. *2026-02-13, version 1.25.0* After downloading from an ad I realized this app literally can not do anything it advertises. Almost like a Shopify store that’s not completed. ### 2/5 — Needs work *2024-05-30* This app is full of people trying to sell items and the posts have no report button. That really undermines the purpose of the app. A lot of the other posters either work for Sibs or are obviously ambassadors for them in some way even if they won’t admit it. There’s very little actual active use at this point. They have something I want, but do I have something they might like? Haven’t even been able to see any info about other users apart from what’s in their bio. The scroll method here is really quite simple and inefficient sometimes. I’ve posted 4 items and received offers within a week. The interface is easy to navigate and the ai camera makes posting so fast and pain free. I think it took me less then a minute per item!
