But that was wrong decision. Game offers amazing gaming experience if you have short time and you love space setup (I love civilization games and have them on all my devices, but cov don’t work on old iPad mini 4, I do love galactic civilisations on pc and stellaris) this offers quick fix on expanding galactic empire and quick short skirmishes and fantastic fleet building gameplay. It runs like a charm on older iOS devices and it is well polished and balanced game. If you in 4x and have not lot’s of time - get it! ### 5/5 — It is not MOO, but still fun to play *2017-03-25, version 1.3* Master of Orion it is not, so don't go expecting that and you will enjoy this tactical space battle, 4x game that is unsophisticated and straightforward than the full blown MOO. Uncomplicated tech tree, planet development, and diplomacy. The focus are the battles. Where you have but one battle group to go around, which can grow in size and power. The crew gains experience with each battle. The end of your turn is signalled when you park your fleet at a planet and go on shore leave while the opponents conduct their turn. Conquer the opponents home world and you gain their entire empire. Play for hours and then no missions to join, building everything, and reaching 80% population and nothing to do but shore leave. Game play is good but the computer AI is seriously stupid making it much too easy even on 'impossible' level. Grab some torpedoes and wipe the floor with the opposition. Not sure what the point of the diplomacy functions are, they seem to do little but give you some Intel on the opposition. Shame this could be quite addictive if it had a bit of longevity. ### 5/5 — EPICLY FUN *2016-03-30* I love this game soooo much because it was never made for the computer but rocks on the touch platform. It is incredibly fun for strategy and taking over galaxies or just sitting there like a peaceful superpowered Soviet Union. Fun tip: It became soooo fun that when I fully upgraded everything(building wise not tech). I was buying stuff to get the tech done then the UNTHINKABLE HAPPENED! I crashed the game because I became sooooo powerful and sooo OP as hell that I crashed it because I was near 100% done. Thankfully it was saved but still super fun. Tip: The crash was caused by me on purpose and not the game. Regardless of what everyone else says, it's well thought out and far more "strategic" than many if not most of the games in the same category. While I do agree that it is slightly over priced, and could have more depth, it dispenses with the cinematic cut scenes which I feel is a plus.
