### 3/5 — zoom doesnt work

*2026-05-26*

love that it gives up to date info on zmaanim. but the zoom feature is totally useless. if i touch the magnifying glass a bug directs me to the table of contents. if i pinch and zoom, it literally zooms in on the text cropping out everything instead of fitting all the words on the screen as you zoom like every other app, ever. please fix this!!!

### 4/5 — Needs font size adjustment option

*2024-05-02, version 1.8.1*

Any plans to add this feature? I can pinch to zoom but that cuts off text.

That and dark mode. Would be good for accessibility too.

### 4/5 — Night mode.

*2021-12-22*

Dark mode is much needed please

### 4/5 — Good ... needs one major improvement

*2021-09-16*

This is the only app I own where I can’t change the text size! There’s a setting to flip back and forth between English and Hebrew. But just text size option and it will be perfect

### 3/5 — Errors :: please update

*2021-02-16, version 1.7.0*

I updated which created issues

### 3/5 — Basic app needs features.

*2020-06-25*

Add the following and I’ll change my review to 5 stars.

1) transliteration for all prayers as a third style of text.

2) Dark mode.

3) Alarms / reminders / calendar integrations.

### 4/5 — Incomplete

*2020-06-13, version 1.6.8*

Very nice exactly as printed, except no Shabbat prayers. I know you are going to say I can’t use it on Shabbat, but I want to practice reading and saying some of the prayers before hand or find something that caught my eye last Shabbat.
Otherwise I like the ability to switch between English and Hebrew. I also have the interlinear version and prefer this one (but bought it because I thought it would have Shabbat content)

### 4/5 — Shema

*2019-09-27*

The app lost the Shema at Bedtime. Please fix

### 2/5 — Not so good

*2019-09-23*

I bought this Siddur several versions ago. I liked the ability to see the English and Hebrew at the same time on opposite pages. The lack of page number is also very annoying. For example, We used the electronic version for selichos last night. As a gabbai, there was no way for me to announce page numbers to help the lost congregants keep pace with the chazzan. Also, the first version of this app that I bought had the the shabbos service and Yom Tov Torah readings and haftarahs which is useful for preparation during weekdays. We have congregants interested in serving as chazzan but they need to practice during the week. Obviously, the phone is not to be used on shabbos or Yom Tov but Removal of these elements from the electronic version is short sighted and misguided. Please put them back for those of us who need to review and practice during the week.

### 3/5 — This could be better

*2019-02-12, version 1.5.9*

Like the regular T’H’ app on Android better
Even though it’s a PDF format having this app have a scrolled down function without any definitive stopping point makes it harder but I having their leader lose their place and their concentration
I would preferred to have page like functions not simply scroll down through the whole book without any stopping points
Not to mention I can’t find the Sobotta Killam app on Apple also PDF but it works and it’s good

### 5/5 — Hoping for blind/low vision features

*2018-11-27, version 1.5.6*

Having been contacted by the app folks I understand they are trying to add the voiceover feature to the app.

I am blind and rely on Apple voiceover to have the screen read to me. This app hopefully will get it soon. I desperately need it.

Mendel (that was my app contact) let me know they are currently testing things. I would gladly become a beta tester if needed.

Thanks for the care and concern. I knew I could count on the fine folks at Chabad to look after all their end users. I look forward to hopefully being able to use the app on my own soon.

### 4/5 — Miss the Flow function, but

*2018-05-25, version 1.5.3*

I like the changes made. Took a while to overcome my concerns and apprehension after the English debacle. Works very well. No issues other than the "flow." Update it.

### 5/5 — Best Hebrew/English Siddur

*2018-05-17, version 1.5.3*

This is the best electronic substitute for the Kehot Siddur that’s become a standard for Chabad in the U.S. Everything works correctly, from the text to the bells and whistles. Great job, Kehot!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-05-08*

I looked through the complains and looks like they are related to the old version which did not have the translation and had inconvenient way to flip pages. All this is fixed in the latest version which I think is absolutely great, though through, and inspirational. Thanks for your great work.

### 5/5 — An excellent English/Hebrew siddur

*2018-05-07, version 1.5.3*

The newest update for this app included the English translation. In addition, they are working on any problems that may be found. Great job!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Prayer before Bed doesn’t work

*2025-06-29*

I love this app

Only one issue

Prayer before retiring, missing certain sections definitely a glitch. Please fix

### 1/5 — Frustrating this app used to be a lifesaver

*2022-02-01, version 1.7.6*

Now it doesn't even open, it just disappears immediately.
Update: still crashes on iOS 15 and up, so frustrating. About to give up completely. As if you guys don’t test at all!

### 1/5 — Won’t open after latest update.

*2021-04-30*

I open the app and it immediately shuts down.

### 1/5 — App Crashes

*2020-07-14, version 1.6.8*

It used to work but simply says failed to register? What’s happening?

### 1/5 — Does this work

*2020-02-26, version 1.6.8*

Costs 8.49 and doesn’t even work !

### 1/5 — Give me back my siddur.

*2018-01-23, version 1.5.1*

Please give us back an option to get the original version that corresponds to the picture shown for the app. Make it a different download under a different name but make it available please.

### 1/5 — Why no English

*2018-01-03, version 1.5.1*

Great idea if only it was really Hebrew and English

### 1/5 — Horrible I paid for the English Siddur

*2017-11-15, version 1.5.1*

I paid for the English Siddur and you ripped me off or I'd like to see an update before sukkot is over with. This used to be a great app but it seams that kehot is taking advantage of its users.

### 1/5 — What happened

*2017-11-04, version 1.5.1*

I had the full siddur. Now I have less than half and no English. Please restore what I originally purchased
Zero stars for this addition

### 1/5 — No English

*2017-10-29, version 1.5.1*

This is supposed to be English. Plus it’s missing prayers...? Ie. Conclusion of Shabbat? Plus you cant read through the whole siddur, just in designated sections? And no bookmarking? Come on Chabad, your smarter than that...

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-02-09, version 1.8.4*

Works well, easy to navigate. May be the compass should indicate Jerusalem direction :-) but it’s a minor feature

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2024-10-02*

Great app, use it all the time. My only issue is that there is no dark mode for the Siddur. Adding that would make the app 10x better.

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2023-10-02, version 1.8.1*

Easily the best Siddur app out there. Clear and easy to read, has the necessary changes for the festivals and highlights particular stages of prayer dependant on when you’re in the app. For example at night it will suggest maariv. 10/10

### 5/5 — Great

*2023-02-19, version 1.7.8*

Great app thank you

### 5/5 — Revised rating-5 stars- works perfectly

*2023-01-04, version 1.7.8*

I had a problem with this app crashing when trying to open it and recently posted a review about that. I noticed other reviews from a year ago with that same issue.

Tonight I received a reply back from the developers at Chabad.org who advised me to delete and reinstall the app, assuring me my purchase wouldn’t be lost.

I followed their advice and now the app works perfectly!!! A great addition to the Linear Edition version I already have. B”H!

### 5/5 — Incredible but Needs a tehillim

*2023-01-04*

I love the app this is the only app I have ever paid for really like it but they don’t have a tehillim for me to say the Rebbes and my Kapital

### 5/5 — Russian language version please

*2022-09-29*

Please do a Russian version of this app

### 5/5 — Best thing since Pas Yisroel slice bread

*2021-09-14*

I literally could not ask for a better looking or more functional siddur app than this.
I see a lot of reviews about glitches, it seems that they have fixed the issues because it works great for me!
Thank you for making this app!

### 5/5 — I Love This App

*2021-02-21*

Convenient, especially during Shacharit (and Rosh Chodesh) when you can simply scroll rather than wasting time flipping through pages in Siddur. Sometimes minor hiccups but they are quickly fixed.

### 5/5 — Great siddur

*2019-01-04*

As it's first time using since the revamp, siddur changes are very welcome and now is my go to siddur
