The Side Out app is a game-changer for anyone who loves sports but doesn't want the hassle of keeping track of scores. I've been using it for a while now, and it has made my experience so much smoother and more enjoyable. With Side Out handling all the scoring, I can focus entirely on playing and enjoying the game without any distractions.

I was looking for a good app to help keep score of our pickleball matches with my watch and this is even better because we can all connect our devices together and now no one is confused on the score or serve!

This is a perfect app pickleball players who can't remember the score or want to be the coolest guy on the court. I use it with my Apple Watch and use an iphone or iPad for everyone else. You'll have a personal score board for your court. 
I would have given it 5 stars of the score on the iPad was bigger. It would be great if it used the whole screen. This is so useful!

It started out as an amazing app!

 Now the players do not switch service courts when scoring a point. They always remain where they started their court position 😡

This is my first app review…this app is too good. 4 stars because it seems too lag sometimes on Apple Watch so I have to be mindful of the score right before I swipe. If you can make it smoother it would be perfect. If you can also add an ARCHIVE feature and stats against players you’ve added and played against it would be even more perfect!!

I don’t know about everyone, but keeping up with the score when you are really into a point is pathetic. Between 4 people we can’t remember who was serving much less the score. My prayers are answered. I had to watch a YT video on how to use it properly. I hate to say it but this is a “game changer”! The announcement of the score to the phone is totally awesome. Will use this at my first pickleball tournament this weekend. 10 star thank you for this.

I've used this for a month now, and I love it. I love the fact that it can announce the score by itself. So I simply bring a portable speaker with me every time.

Although there's a couple things to be desired:
1. I know this supports landscape rotation, but not true landscape mode. It'd be great to see players in landscape orientation.
2. Be able to add "Myself" to either team. I'm not the one who always do the scoring while I'm playing, so it's not wise to limit it to just the blue team. 

Bug:
The UNDO is sometimes buggy. There are several times when I undo and then the app thinks I made a wrong score so it adds points to the other team, even if it's still 1st service, and undoing it more would just decrease the points from the wrong team - it's a weird glitch - so the score is ruined.

Other than that, the is great.

Used today and very good although I was playing festival 10 min games and exiting didn’t save the score which was dissapointing.

Can there be an option for time limit scoring or just an exit and save option rather than exit and lose data?

I like some of the features however, it’s not intuitive. I’m having a hard time getting used to the swipes. It would be helpful if you flip the player view. E.g. if I can only be on the blue team I would like be able to view the blue team on either the top or the bottom of the screen so that it emulates where my starting position is from a Birds Eye view.

I really like this app. It is very helpful and easy to use. My only complaint is it crashes too often losing the current game. One feature I wish it had is a replay feature that allows you to mix teams because the most time consuming part is adding players.

Simply an incredible app that I not only use daily, but endorse often publicly.  The only things that I would strive to change/add…1) a small in-game timer would be nice (many round robin games are timed and it would be great to see remaining time), 2) disable the Watch crown rotation for scoring (swipe is easier and the crown often gets inadvertently rotated during play), 3) adding microphone control to be able to quickly change player names.  I set mine up as my wife and I playing my brother/sister in law.  In open play we change partners and opponents every game.  It works if I am playing a male and female as I just use my preset brother/sister in laws names, but when 2 opponents of the same gender play me, it gets difficult.  It would be nice to long press an existing name and be able to replace it with “hat” or “bald” or “tall”…, 4) would be great to have a “default” setup option.  My everyday routine is to start a game and tap each of the 4 players from my list (one at a time).  I ALWAYS adjust from this starting spot.

The app itself is amazing and has been on my wrist for 450 hours of play in the last year…players with me love it.  I frequently screencast the score to my iPad mounted on a ½ court fence.

Great app for tracking scoring. It’s easy to use and the Apple Watch app makes it even better.  I must say that sometimes the app on the watch will randomly close and delete my current match. That’s a bit frustrating, but I just add the scores after the game. I wish there was a way to use the app with the workout app and give display priority to Side Out. Right now, if you use the workout app with Side Out, it defaults to the workout app which makes it a bit clunky to use during play. I also wish that the app saved matches by sessions so you can see how well you played for each session rather than only having stats for all play. Otherwise, it does the job well enough.

Simple and effective pickleball app to track scores. I like the ability to announce the score, use my Apple Watch to track the score and see the score on my iPhone.   Haven’t really used the match stats tracking yet enough to see the benefit, hope that it syncs to my iPhone from my watch though.  The ability to record unforced errors using the same action as redoing scoring (redoing is really not needed) would add value.

I’ve been searching for a way to keep score rather than the traditional “flip” style scorekeeper. The most frequent and frustrating arguments was over the score and or the serve count not anymore. This app is awesome. I use it on my Apple Watch.

Some will say i got paid to said that but believe me or not i did not. The app is really really grind. Fluidity of the app is also why i gave it a 5 stars. You can fully customize the match rules. It doesn't hurt to try it for yourself. 
A word for the developer, please make a tennis app or section:) your talent are great and would definitely like to see a tennis app!

Uncomplicated and just works. Took me a game or two to get muscle memory of keeping score. 

My play partners like the cast of the score to my iPad. They don’t like when I haven’t changed the score fast enough. Let me celebrate!

Feature request: I would like to be able to set a match up on my phone and then control the score on my watch.  Setting the match up on my watch works, I just think it is much easier with a bigger screen.
