## What is SideBets App?

SideBets is the all-in-one app for running bowling league night — side bets, blind draws, brackets, full tournaments, live scoreboards, and your own personal scorekeeper, all from your phone. Built by bowlers, for bowlers.

RUN THE POT WITHOUT THE PAPERWORK
• Blind Draw Doubles — random partners, combined scores, drawn in one tap
• Brackets — 8-bowler single elimination that advances automatically as scores come in
• Full tournaments — scratch, handicap, or a traditional high game / high series split
• Multiple entries per bowler, with the pot scaling automatically

EVERYONE WATCHES LIVE
• A real-time leaderboard the whole alley can follow
• Anyone can follow along from any phone or browser with a 6-character code — no account needed
• Podium standings, lane assignments, and side-bet pots update the moment scores go in

SET IT UP IN MINUTES
• Pull your roster and lane assignments straight from League Secretary or LeaguePals
• USBC handicap built in (base and percentage configurable per event)
• A guided step-by-step takes you from check-in to cash-out
• Export final standings and payouts as a clean, printable results sheet

GAMETRACKR — YOUR POCKET SCOREKEEPER
• Frame-by-frame scoring with live pace and off-the-sheet projections
• Track which ball is carrying with MyBag
• Strike %, spare conversion, clean frames, and your best series — tracked automatically
• A Lock Screen Live Activity while you bowl

SideBets is a score-tracking and organizing tool. It calculates side-bet pots and payouts for reference only — all money changes hands between bowlers in person, and the app never processes payments.

Free to download. Built by Bowlers, for Bowlers.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-02

What's new in 1.3:

- Fix a typo after the fact: completed games and series now have an Edit Details option to correct the league name, bowling center, lane, oil pattern, and game type. Series changes apply to every game in the set.
- Your league name now shows on the series recap.
- Better layouts for large and foldable screens: the scoring screen fits wide, short windows side by side, and welcome and login screens scroll instead of cutting off.
- Stronger GameTrackr Social moderation tools to keep the leaderboard clean.
- Bug fixes and polish.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-15

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.2

• A fully refreshed light mode — richer colors, way better contrast, and a cleaner look that's easier to read at the alley
• GameTrackr Social comments: leave a note on any bowler's stats page — congratulate a big series, talk a little trash, and manage the comments on your own page
• GameTrackr Social is now front and center on your GameTrackr home screen
• Rebuilt with the latest iOS SDK for the newest iPhones

Keep it clean out there — comments can be reported, and you're the moderator of your own page.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-07

GameTrackr keeps getting better:

- GameTrackr Social — opt in to put your average on the board, see how you stack up against other local bowlers, and follow your friends. Sharing is off by default and only aggregate stats are shared.
- Your Line — log where you stand on the approach and what you're targeting down lane (arrows or hash marks), frame by frame.
- Share a branded series recap card after your night to brag to your bowling buddies.
- Bigger Strike and Spare buttons, and mark pins with a single fast swipe.
- Fixed a bug where locking your phone mid-game could record a gutter, plus Lock Screen scorecard polish.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-31
