Yes, it can save my file to it but, one by one. There is no copy and paste to since its local library cannot be read. When I used open in. It just put one file in it when I selected more than 2 books. Hoping getting easy to get around my own files.

Everything is great. Shelfs and reading. Thank you.

The app changed some setting I assume for iOS 26 compatibility but now the text for the titles of the books is huge. Not sure what they did but the app is broke.

I love this app. There is nothing else that does what it does so well. But there are a few things I would wish for. One is better app support and FAQs in English. And I’m not sure what happened but the app updated or something and I lost the entire bookshelf and had to reload it book by book. There is no option to load an entire folder from Dropbox. And I hate that is the only way to get books to the app. Doesn’t work with any other cloud services. And I suppose with no competition they don’t have a reason to do more. It’s fine. I will continue to use it. Like I say. I love it. But I am still praying for my wish list.

長年大変便利に使わせていただいてるのですが、数ヶ月前から、アプリ開くたびに本のサムネが大きくなったり小さくなったりするようになり、ついに4×5cmくらいになって固定化されてしまいました。スクロールが面倒で閉口してます。設定にもそれらしきコマンド無いのでバグではないかと…。

ニーズに合わせて細かい設定が出来るのが良い。
ファイル数が多くなると開くのが重くなったりするがその辺はご愛嬌といったところ。

不満点は以下の2点です。
1.見開きでスキャンしたファイルを左右で分けて表示出来るようにしてほしい。
2.二重圧縮ファイルも展開できるようにしてほしい。

表紙サムネの一括読み込み機能が欲しい！
本が増えるといちいち読み込むのも大変なので…
あとリスト/アイコン表示とテーマの切り替えボタンはホームの1番上に隠すのではなく、設定の中か画面上部の[▼本棚]と[編集]の間に固定で置いといてほしい…隠す必要ないのと切り替えのために1番上までフリックして戻すのがめんどくさいのです
有償の追加機能としてで良いので是非

数年問題なく使っていたのですが、最近アプリを開くと「Side Booksは応答していません」と表示されるようになりました。アプリを閉じるor待機とボタンがあるので待機を押すとAppを使用できるのですが、この表示は何故表示されるようになったのでしょうか。表示をしないようにするにはどうすれば良いでしょうか。

主に古い書籍、ノート、書類を自炊(スキャン→pdf)したもので使用していますが、これといって問題となることが無いのが素晴らしい。
まぁ、容量の大きいpdfの場合、稀に落ちますが、再度起動すると元のbookの位置(頁)に戻っているので、使用に影響はない程度。古いiPadだと頻繁に落ちていたので、ハード面(たぶんメモリ)との問題だったのかな。
ITunes やDropboxからのデータの移動も全く問題無し。
他のいろんなアプリと比べても、なぜこんなに問題が無いのかが不思議なくらい。

너무 잘 사용중입니다.
소중한 책들을 전용 책장에 보관하는 느낌
시리즈별로 정리도 가능하고
보기 기능들도 너무 좋습니다.

몇가지 업데이트되면 좋을것 같은 기능이라하면

1. 폴더 속 폴더가 폴더모양으로 보여지는 문제.
폴더 안 내용들중 하위폴더를 만들면 상위폴더에서
이미지가 안보고 폴더가 노출되서 보기가 안좋습니다.

2. 폴더속 상단부분 이미지추가가 있으면 좀더 특별한 
책장을 꾸밀수 있을것 같습니다. 
예를들어 드래곤볼 폴더라면 상단에 이미지를 넣어서 
드래곤볼 책장같은 느낌으로 꾸밀수있는 기능이 포함되면 좋겠네요.

3. 폴더속 추가 내용을 정리할수있는 부분이 있으면 좋겠습니다.
제목이나 저자같은 기본 정보를 볼수있는 부분이 
말씀드린 2번 구역에 이미지와 함께 첨부할수있으면 좋겠습니다.

너무 잘 사용하고 지금도 충분한 기능입니다.
이 앱의 팬으로서 몇가지 이야기한것입니다.
차후에 이야기한 부분중 일부라도 업데이트가 된다면 
정말 이 부분에 최고의 어플이 될것같습니다.

Thanks for making an easy to use and reliable app. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a no-nonsense reader. 

I hope the developer will also consider adding: 

1. An option to automatically split wide images (e.g. a 2 page spread) into 2 separate pages. Right now, the only way to view is as a single wide image. 

2. An option to transition instantly to the next page (no swipe or page turn animation).

I like this app, but you can add the iphone file browser? Just like that View—>iphone—>crhome(or any files page). You can add this in subscription. If you want this, of course. Because If someone wants to read some manga, then he must install the app, then register in it and also upload a book or manga to the cloud (if there is a slightly slow Internet, then it's generally tin) and only then can you read. And so with the help of a simple indication of the folder with manga, it will reduce the time twice. If you want to launch your app for everyone. 本棚画面でテキスト表示になり固まって何もできなくなります。
こうなるとアンインストールし再度インストールする羽目になります。
これはテキスト表示のバグだと思われます。
やり方
インストール後初期設定のまま、本を開きますがここでは例としてStandRackGateを開きます。
何ページでもいいですが長押ししテキスト表示をします。
そのまま長押ししたまま上半分画面の枠左から右へスライドします。
テキスト表示されたまま画面が本棚です。

アプデしたら本のデータ全部消えました。一旦このアプリを再インストールしました。データの同期にはiTunesのファイル共有を使っていますが、やり直しがすごく面倒くさかったです。
おまけに本のファイルごとのリスト表示ができなくなり、ダサい木目の本棚一択になりました。
このアップデートはなんだったんでしょうか。意味不明。

大多数のユーザーから不評な「テキスト表示機能」は意地でも触らず、今回のバージョンアップで新たに「ページ送りの度に必ず引っ掛かるカクつき機能」を追加しています。指を一瞬でも触れたままにしてると毎回「テキスト表示」が出て来るだけでも鬱陶しいのに、更に追加で「ページを送る度にカクつく仕様」になったのは苦痛でしかありません。早急に改善、修正等をよろしくお願いします。

画面に0.3秒以上指が当たっていると、どのページを開いていようが容赦無く何度も何度もすぐにテキスト表示が出てきて、毎回毎回解除しないと操作を受け付けなくなってしまうので非常に鬱陶しいです。運営に直接メールで訴えましたが「ご意見ありがとうございました」しか回答が無く改善する気は無いようです。需要も無さそうなのにどうしてもその機能を付けたいのなら、せめてオンオフ出来るようにして下さい。

マックユーザーは要注意。
マックではzipファイルを開くと何の表示もなく、開くファイルを自らのコンテナファイル内に移動するのでファイルが行方不明になります。
しかもGUI上はどこに保存されているのか表示されていないので、取り返すのに苦労しました。

常識的には考えられない挙動で、マルウェアのような挙動をするソフトウェアと言わざるを得ないです。

I have tried many book readers but this one is definitely the best, the folder feature is amazing and I love how it looks like an actual bookshelf. 
The features are great too, written notes on the pages, memos with the bookmarks, searching and table of contents, it’s perfect!!

Very well written app, very simple to use yet very powerful program. Does my arabic document reading very well. Only complaint is, it doesn’t stop the phone from locking while in use, so if it takes longer to read then phone gets locked and you need to unlock it again. Otherwise it’s a great app and free. Well done

スライドでページを移動させるときに 一気に次のページに行かず、左右の大きな 一枚ページをゆっくり移動するような動きになります(スライドでページ移動するために親指で何回も繰る動作が必要) ページめくり設定にすると解消されますが、紙がロールする余計なアニメーションが増えてしまうので、あまり使っていません。

I have been using this app for years. Its still supported on older devices, which is amazing because I can load them up with old PDF or comics and mangas and it renders so crisp, with no ads, and works even with large 800mb+ books. I wish there was a paid version so I could show my support.
