## What is Sideby?

Give your record collection the wall it deserves.

Sideby turns the vinyl you own into a beautiful digital listening room. Scan a record cover or search the catalog, place each album on your shelves, and arrange everything freely until the space feels like yours.

BUILD YOUR VINYL WALL
Add records by scanning their covers or searching by artist, album, or catalog number. Keep your collection together in a room made to be seen.

ARRANGE IT YOUR WAY
Move your records freely and decide exactly where every album belongs. Your wall can be carefully curated, delightfully chaotic, or anything in between.

MAKE THE ROOM YOURS
Choose the wall finish, shelf material, trim, lighting, and decorative objects. Create a warm listening corner, a clean gallery wall, or a setup that matches your own room.

SHOW IT OFF WITH A WIDGET
Put your record wall on your iPhone Home Screen. Choose a widget size and show the top of your wall, a favorite shelf, or a changing selection from your collection.

YOUR COLLECTION, CLOSE AT HAND
Check which records you own while browsing for music and keep the artwork you love somewhere you will see it every day.

Scan it. Place it. Make it yours.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-13

Your shelf just got easier to fill.

Add records straight from your wall: scan the barcode or search the catalogue by title or artist. No barcode on that old pressing? Search for it instead.
Plus a brand-new opening animation.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-07

Scan it, don't type it.
• Add records by scanning the barcode. Sideby finds the release, fills in the details and uses its cover, so it can go straight on your wall.
• Barcode won't scan? Type the number in instead.
• Several versions on one barcode? Pick yours: colour, country and edition are shown side by side.
• Tap a record on your wall to lift it off the shelf and turn it in 3D.
• Add or change front and back sleeve photos at any time, with the camera or from your Photos.
• New wall paints and wallpapers, an acrylic shelf, fairy lights, candle, sunset and moonlight lighting, and a new set of Cozy objects.
• Sideby now looks at home on iOS 26, with a native tab bar, navigation bar, alerts and liquid glass buttons.
• Your first record in onboarding can be scanned too.
• Fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-05

Smoother first steps.
• Find your first record faster: the record you pick during setup now appears instantly, with no wait.
• Easier to read: the search screen in setup is clearer against its background.
• Plus fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-30

Your Collection is here.

• Collection: see every record you own, whether or not it's on the wall. Search, sort and filter by genre, decade or status.
• Record details: open any record to see its details, edit them in place or remove it. Genres, artists and labels you've already used are suggested as you type.
• Find your first record: during setup, search a vinyl catalogue for a record you own and watch it land on your wall.
• Smoother scanning: a clearer capture screen, and you can add a record to your Collection without hanging it.
• Easier navigation: the bottom bar shows where you are.
• Plus fixes and polish throughout.
