### 5/5 — Great recipes, love the cook mode

I downloaded the app for inspiration but now my student son shares my account & is using it to learn to cook. The cook mode with audio instructions as well as timers is so helpful, and there are lots of filters so if you want veggie or budget recipes, or even 15 minute recipes, you can adjust the filters & lots of recipes come up. I try to cook the packs of recipes so I can save on fresh food waste, and my son will definitely do that at Uni. It would be great to have a web version so I can use it on the iPad. Definitely recommend this for more accomplished cooks looking for weekday inspo, and beginners.

I’ve been using this app for 4 years now. It is so great. My husband and I only have to decide which pack we are getting instead of stressing at the grocery store. We have learned new flavors, techniques, ingredients, and have fun cooking because of it. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed it for a year, completely changed the way we did meals. But the use of AI is saddening, sometimes plain wrong or confusing…very disappointing. Also the UI change wasn’t for the best either - it’s made it more difficult.
A shame really, but if things don’t improve, we’ll look to alternatives.

The app asked for my allergies, I couldn’t put them all in but I could select fish, anchovies, Worcestershire sauce … but not prawns; the prawn dishes were coming up as recommendations, they look lovely but I can’t make/eat them. Overall the lack of ability to exclude things that could kill me made me get over the app very quickly. I did cook one chicken dish and the step by step voice instructions and timer function was a nice touch but I couldn’t be bothered to keep checking if the recipe would not be suitable for my allergies.

This app turned cooking from scary to a hobby. I used to adore and recommend it to everyone. Sadly the recent 2 UI changes have made the app less user friendly and more complicated to use as well as slower. 

Worst of all, today it forgot my logon, which was through Apple ID. Suddenly it wants my email and password and a password reset doesn’t send an email for recovery. I guess thats a wasted subscription.

We have used the app for 3 years and absolutely loved it. The recent update made it just difficult to use. We scheduled our meals for the week and it was a pain. Now coming to cook and I realise three of the meals we had scheduled are just gone? Searching for meals has become a pain. All the “improvements” you have made are really disappointing and make the app difficult to use. We will be thinking about leaving.

I still like all the content inside the app, the meals work great for me and it goes through them step by step. 
I’m not a fan of the new interface. It makes it harder to do things as packs of 3, as originally intended, and pushes more individual meals.

Ultimately this is a great app that has not only helped myself and my partner make some delicious meals and plan our week accordingly, but it has saved us more money than I expected it to, one major change I would like to see though would be an iPad specific app, it’s great that I can use it on my phone and while I’m out, but it would be even better if I could have the app fullscreen on my iPad to plan and follow along with recipes
