Easy to use and works well for Ringette (no option for ringette though so need to select hockey). Would love the ability to be able to use a remote for zooming in and out in the future. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review and feedback! All of a sudden in the middle of streaming a game this evening it stopped the stream and says my YouTube account doesn't have a channel. Literally dozens of games on my YouTube channel streamed through Sideline and now it won't let me connect the same channel... Support is zero help sending the same article over and over again ### 4/5 — Sweet app *2025-12-14* This has been the most consistent app for live-streaming games or practices. One thing I believe will enhance is having the ability to score volleyball games during practice without rotations (just a scoreboard). Most scrimmages I’ve witnessed aren’t done the traditional way. I am hoping at some point we could display a cumulative scoreboard and the opponent team logos in the scoreboard as well. ### 2/5 — App was great until the new update *2025-10-11* The new update caused quite a few issues on my device. 1) It’s now timing out and not loading my team, thus I’m having to restart the app multiple times to get it to function. 2) after the update the download window no longer pops up to download the highlight clips post game. 3) for the hockey teams, the game time clock does not appear on the score board, and some features are missing regardless of how many device restarts I attempt. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Pricing *2025-08-18* Overall, I like using sideline hd to stream our games to YT so family can watch for free. We’ve been using this for a couple of years and now have very angry parents that don’t want to pay to get their child’s clips. There are no stats, so why pay GC for stats and SHD for clips when we can just use GC and get stats and clips. We won’t be paying for both. Change the clips back to free! **Developer response:** We appreciate your feedback on the subscription and our features. We are always listening to customer feedback and their feature suggestions. ### 2/5 — Failed *2025-07-13* The app worked ok for a while. The most absurd feature is that parents are required to “claim” their player in order to get a box score. That makes keeping stats useless for the team with this app. Overlooking that, for two recent games, the app would not allow keeping stats or scores giving a white screen and text reading “Something went wrong. Please refresh and try again.” Nothing could fix it. Deleting and reinstalling the app didn’t solve it. Since DK took it over it’s next to impossible to download my daughter’s clips. When I tried it just sits there. Was easy to use, stream and record directly to my iPad. I am getting set up now for the new season and found that there must be a bug in the new version as the sound is recorded and streamed extremely muffled. I’ve ruled out the device itself and microphone as recording straight video via the camera app and using other apps works fine. I’ve adjusted all the settings and completely restored the iPad back to original manufacturer settings to see if that helped with no success. Please fix this! I can’t open anything it just keeps loading and when it does finally work and I click on something else I have to wait another 5 mins for it to load. What?! *2026-01-20* This app does not use a game clock because of “feedback from users.” I don’t know who is losing their mind, but streaming without a game clock makes the thrill and luxury of using this app 100% pointless. A developer could program starting and stopping a clock with their eyes closed. So they’re just choosing not to. This is geared towards baseball. It forced me to do an update, then signed me out of my account, and now I cannot get back into my account and the app is not functional. We are in the middle of our high school varsity season, and cannot gain access to any of our video’s. We are at Volleyball Nationals and the app won’t even load now. The top says “STAGING ENVIRONMENT” and there is an error loading page error code 1004. I hope this is fixed quickly! We absolutely loved the app all season. ### 1/5 — Can’t do Facebook Groups Stream *2025-04-12* So disappointing this app doesn’t allow you to stream to a Facebook group. Plus the emails with his HitScope highlights every week are so cool! ### 5/5 — Great App…..Better Support!!!!!! *2025-03-15* I switched to this app on a Saturday during a volleyball tournament because I was feed up with another one. I was initially having issues with several features on this app. Just about all were self inflicted because I set up two accounts with the same phone number. I struggling through the day and sent multiple chats that were all answers perfectly by the AI CHAT BOT, but I still couldn’t approve team member requests. I started another chat and requested an agent. Not expecting a real person on the weekend, I was surprised when John came onto the chat. He stayed on with me for 1 1/2 Hours and resolved every issue I had. He deleted the duplicate account, offered to resend approval links, ran troubleshooting on app errors, and answered every question I had. I can’t say enough about my experience. I am ready and excited to use this platform tomorrow. ### 5/5 — The solution I didn’t know I needed! *2025-02-02* My first club volleyball season using SDHD. Livestream your games to Facebook and YouTube with a professional looking scoreboard. Creates automatic highlights for your entire team while scoring. Have been using this platform for over 3 years and I haven’t looked back since. Always updating and listening to user feedback. It takes a few games to get used to keeping track of all the plays, but it’s wonderful how the app creates clips and sends them to the players! The ease (and complexity as needed) of SidelineHD is wonderful. Streaming via the app to Facebook and YouTube has been a breeze. The low latency streaming and ability to adjust stream quality has been clutch in facilities where cell coverage is very limited or WiFi is unavailable. If streaming does go down, app / text communications are appropriate and welcomed. The ability to save a stream to your phone has bailed us out on a few occasions too (minus any scoreboard feature(s)). Overall, highly recommend. Other family members / friends that cannot travel to games have routinely overly bragged about the quality and information presented during streams. We are all thankful! ### 5/5 — Remarkable Live Streaming App *2024-02-16, version 2.2.14* Can’t say enough about this platform. It’s a great app to livestream my kid’s games. I love that I’m able to stream to YouTube and Facebook so my audiences can watch for FREE! Also, the level of customer service is by far superior to any other app you’ll use! And then they’re always improving their platform and actually take ideas and advice from their users. Seriously - you don’t get this anywhere else! Love! Love!
