## What is Sidq?

A QUIET WAY TO GIVE.

Sidq is a Zakat calculator and a private donation log. It is for Muslims who want to give carefully, without turning charity into a feed.

There are no accounts, and cloud sync is off until you turn it on. Nothing about your giving is broadcast or tracked. Just an accurate calculation, a place to record what you give, and the option to keep all of it out of sight.

ZAKAT ACROSS THE FOUR MADHABS
Sidq works with Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali rules.

- Nisab on silver (595g, the Hanafi default) or gold (85g)
- Hawl tracked across lunar years
- Pledged, Settled, and Remaining shown separately
- Shafi'i liabilities reminder built into the calculator
- Eligible categories limited to the eight asnaf (At-Tawbah 9:60)

A SIMPLE SADAQAH LOG

- Create projects for masjids, orphan sponsorship, water wells, family support
- One-tap donations from the dashboard
- Attach receipts to projects you have finished
- Separate Sadaqah, Zakat, Sadaqah Jariyah, and Other; you cannot mix them up
- Multiple contributors, custom tags, and a guided Zakat wizard
- Monthly goals, streaks with milestone badges, and a quick look at your top projects

RIYA MODE
The hadith says: let not your left hand know what your right hand spends. The app takes that literally.

- Hide all totals; every amount becomes ***
- Hide completed projects so old good deeds drop out of view
- Hide the streak counter so giving is not a game
- Hide the monthly goal so progress is not measured publicly

When something is hidden, Sidq skips the database query for it. It is not just hidden in the UI.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

- All data stays on your phone in a local SQLite file
- Optional Face ID or Touch ID lock
- Auto-lock timer you can adjust
- Local backup and restore, with optional password protection; the file is yours
- Optional cloud sync to iCloud, Google Drive, or a folder you pick. Off by default.

BUILT FOR THE UMMAH

- English, العربية, اردو, Bahasa Indonesia (full RTL for Arabic and Urdu)
- A daily hadith or verse
- Hijri-aware dates
- Cairo typography for Arabic
- Arabic-Indic numerals where they belong
