The game itself is incredibly fun, but the app frequently freezes on a "Connection Required" screen during launch on newer devices. If this happens to you, temporarily turn off your Wi-Fi and open the app using only your cellular data. Let it download the baseline data assets, and once you hit the menu, you can safely turn Wi-Fi back on. Hopefully, Arkada Studio patches this handshake protocol soon!

Connection Required! That’s all you will see pass the 1st screen. Refreshed the app, restarted the phone, rechecked internet connection, nothing works. I spent $90 on a paper weight that doesn’t work without the application and it looks like it will never be fixed. Highly do not recommend buying this game till you 100% have this application tested working.

Let me start by saying this game is a blast. Really enjoyed playing with the wife and in-laws, defo will be in regular rotation and I’m so glad I backed this early days. Now one small piece of feedback regarding the app functionality. When you receive the dark glance tokens, the app doesn’t consider that player is then kicked out of the tavern and keeps them in rotation. Since it asks how many players are playing, I think it should tell that player that they’re out and remove them from the rotation. Potentially ask the players before the game stats how many dark glance tokens they want to be the “out” number. Father in law also suggested a little 3 second timer button to help have a more accurate count, but I do appreciate that getting everyone to count aloud is more fun and social. Anyways, love the game and look forward to seeing more from Arkada <3
