It also needs IPAD OS support as people normally study there and you can use the app but it a small display and doesn’t work horizontally. Slow-moving, high-pressure air below the blades pushes up against the faster-moving, lower pressure air above the blades and this produces an upward force known as the A. B. C. D. I watched their videos and practiced with the app. I passed with 63. If you just study the app, you don’t any book. ### 5/5 — Passed my SIFT with this app *2024-08-02, version 1.8* I usually never write reviews but I bought the full version and used this app for about a month leading up to my SIFT test. This app is by no means perfect. It has its flaws. However, content wise it’s pretty spot on to what you’ll see on the actual SIFT test. (For any applicants, I would recommend reading through the FAA Helicopter guide-found online as well) On the full length practice tests on this app I consistently scored a 59. On my actual test I scored a 66. I would recommend the app to any applicant preparing to take the SIFT test. ### 5/5 — Great App *2024-08-02, version 1.8* Great App with everything you need to pass. The test is also very good too. I got a 62 on the test and got a 76 on the actual test. ### 2/5 — It’s okay. I’ve spent hours and hours of my study time (2-3 hours an attempt) to get a score or feedback from this app using the practice/prediction test just to get a “request timed out” after completing. Test questions are riddled with grammatical errors. I created an account and tried loging in. It says login successfull but wont take me anywhere, it just gets stuck on the login screen. ### 1/5 — 15 a month, what a laugh *2023-06-11, version 1.4* $15 a month for full access, a month!, and you only have 2 simple pictures and 2 hidden figures practice tests. And I tried to take the practice exam and it froze within 8 questions while still keeping the time going. Also it didn’t have different time requirements for the different test sections which is not how it works in the actual exam so you can’t even tell if you’ve actually run out of time or not. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money *2023-03-07, version 1.3* First of all the questions are worded horribly making it difficult to even understand what is being asked. The amount of lag between questions also makes the simple drawings and hidden figures sections unusable. Save your money and buy a study guide on amazon. Additionally the Trivium Prep online SIFT questions are 10 times better ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2023-03-05, version 1.3* This has all the makings to be a great study tool. HOWEVER, when doing practice tests for the simple drawings, hidden figures, and spatial apperception; the timer keeps going during the VERY long load time to the next question. Not only that but when the time runs out it doesn’t tell you and you can just keep going over time. Worse still is if you skip a question (remember you’re penalized more for wrong answers) you can’t finish the test and instead have to go back to each skipped question to provide an answer then cycle back through each question to the end to submit your test. Both of these functions lead to bad testing habits as I find myself lingering on a question I would have skipped, eating up precious testing time. But the nail in this coffin is I just finished a full practice exam that took well over an hour to complete and it failed to score my answers. Meaning I have no idea what I missed or why which makes this portion of the app (the main reason I purchased it) worthless. I’m using an up to date brand new iPad Pro btw. So, all the long load times and errors are definitely poor programming related. I suggest buying a study guide elsewhere and passing over this app entirely. ### 1/5 — Crashes more than an Osprey *2022-08-08, version 1.2* This app will not let me finish a test and/or calculate the results. I studied a couple of months and took the SIFT test. Very well organized app. ### 5/5 — Very Useful *2026-06-28, version 1.9.3* This app was very useful and accurate at gauging your SIFT score. Some of the questions on here were either similar or exactly as the test. I will say the reading comprehension portion is not similar to the format as the test so do study that somewhere else, but it was still good practice. This app predicted my score to be between 72-74 and I got a 67. I recommend you use this app alongside study guides. ### 5/5 — Passed with a 75 *2026-06-27, version 1.9.3* I used this app for about 85% of my studying along with various youtube videos on areas I’m particularly weak on. The math, physics, army aviation information, and spatial apperception categories in the app were very good prep for the real test, lots of similar type questions and content. Hidden figures and simple drawings were also good practice however the app is a little slow loading between each question. Overall it is a very good way to prep, definitely recommend. ### 5/5 — Scored a 71 *2026-04-15, version 1.9.3* App predicted I’d score a 71 and I did. I used it in conjunction with other resources but if I had to go back in time I’d just use this app. ### 5/5 — Recommend *2026-04-10, version 1.9.3* The app does have some minor bugs but it does not change the fact that this is a best study guide to get a passing score. I used this app for like 3 weeks averaging 3-4 hours a day took a practice test and got 66 on the practice test. Two days later my sift got cancelled, I had to wait 2 week to be able and barely study except for 2 days before my Sift. When I took it I got exactly 66 proving that the prediction test is relative accurate. Took two weeks off studying then took the test. 100% helped. It helped me understand the type of math and some aviation knowledge. All the other other stuff you can really teach but you def practice and get familiarized at the least. 100% recommend.
