### 2/5 — Going Downhill

*2022-10-04, version 6.3.1*

Used to be great a few years back. Slowly they keep removing features. Removed the ability to view stock performance and stats. Removed links to related news. Most recently removed the ability to access SigFig from your iPhone. Really a shame as it was my favorite stock tracking app a few years ago. Now I’m trying personal capital per the recommendation of others.

### 3/5 — SigFig

*2021-11-04, version 6.3.0*

Like the app for real time tracking of my accounts. Was very easy to use for linked and manual accounts. However stock ticker lookup for new manual account holdings hasnt worked in months on the mobile app even though its working fine on the web application. Customer service auto-responded quickly but the app is still not fixed

### 3/5 — Great - when it works....

*2021-10-25, version 6.3.0*

App on the I-phone continues to sporadically drop offline and not function for 7-10 days and then magically starts working again. Same function and all data on a laptop or desktop continues to work properly but the mobile app is very frustrating because you never know when it’s going to function properly on your mobile device to check your portfolio in real time - on the go.

### 2/5 — Easy way to track your portfolio value when it works

*2021-02-16, version 6.2.3*

Unfortunately the app seems to be very unstable. A significant percentage of the time when you try to access it thru the app there is a server error while at the same time you can access it through the web and it’s perfectly fine. the developers need to get this fixed. When it’s working it’s a good application for tracking your portfolio.

### 4/5 — Way better than the old version version

*2020-12-09, version 6.2.3*

I like everything about it except that it is limited in the funds that it will automatically access. I have a 401(k) that is in a fund that I have to manually enter so it is counted as cash. This skews my $ and % return reported by the app. Please add PIA to the fund selections. Also occasionally requires me to reload the app to get it to work

### 4/5 — Great app to get a snap shot of all your accounts in one place

*2020-10-13, version 6.2.3*

I’d recommend this app. The one think it can improve is the apps ability to analyze data. In the app, Performance is based on what you’re account value was, say a year earlier, compared to what the value is now not taking into account contributions during that time which is very inaccurate. Also, the app crashes once in a while and I have to uninstall it and install it again.

### 5/5 — Great app.

*2020-06-23, version 6.2.3*

Great app. I do however, occasionally experience an issue where it keeps putting up an error message that reads ‘server not found’ I’ve gone from using cell service to established internet connections and still get the issue. I’ve even changed iPhones and I still get it. Only fix is deleting it and reloading it. Otherwise a great app

### 4/5 — Calculating total return

*2020-05-08, version 6.2.3*

SigFig although a very good application is not able to aggregate total return figures that you import from say Fidelity or Ameriprise. This the only downside to the app and I have had to manually enter this data and has been repeatedly deleted on numerous occasions. I have asked several time and SigFig advises that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. This has probably been going on now for 2 years

### 5/5 — Several Years Use of SigFig

*2019-12-18, version 6.2.3*

I have had the use of SigFig’s App and have been very pleased with the App and the support that I have received from the SigFig team from time to time. Occasionally there have been issues with downloading current data from one of my investment companies but the SigFig technician I have interfaced with always worked with me, caring about my issues, and helping to get the problem resolved. It is a great tool for monitoring your investments and I highly recommend its use.

### 5/5 — This app provides an amazing view of your portfolio

*2019-12-13, version 6.2.2*

This is the only app I know that can give you a view of a single stock across multiple accounts. This view allows you to see the daily/yearly performance, how many shares you have in each account and the total number of shares in all the accounts for a single stock symbol.

### 5/5 — Love it but keeps crashing...

*2019-10-26, version 6.2.2*

I was loving this app, but on the phone, if I tap on tracker to see the daily changes, it crashes. It had been working, so maybe it’s the IOS update that did it. I do really like being able to see all of my information from different accounts all in one place, and the tools are great. I just wish it would work beyond the opening screen.

### 4/5 — Best app so far, but could be better

*2019-09-10, version 6.2.2*

First off, I love the SigFig app. The interface is clean and readable, and I like ability to quickly jump between "movers" and overall holdings. I like that I can enter positions manually, too, although that won’t appeal to everyone. It's the one investing app I use all the time, and I've tried Yahoo Finance, StockTracker & several others.

However, I would love a better way to organize news items about stocks & funds. Right now it's a big jumbled list, ordered by date. Instead, it would be great to allow the user to tag different news sources, for example, so i can choose to have a feature article in the WSJ, for example, persist longer in my article queue than a Seeking Alpha post. Could also have an alphabetical slider by source along one side of screen. I tend to glaze over when I see my article queue, and I don't check it every day, so I'm sure I'm missing good stuff about my holdings.

### 2/5 — It started out excellent years ago but has degraded

*2019-08-27, version 6.2.2*

I’ve been using SigFi website since it started under a USA Today login. It use to be excellent showing things like percent of portfolio in global markets. Now it is so broken that even the dividend yield shows zero for all stocks. I just tried the app to see if it was any better than the website and found the app to have even less data. Why would anyone use the SigFi wealth advisers when they can’t even maintain their own website? Off to find a replacement.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Frustrated long time user

*2022-10-30, version 6.3.1*

I am a long time user of this app. I have been having connection problems with this IPhone and Ipad app. At first, it would get fixed in a day or so. Then it was “delete the app and reinstall it” to fix. Now it doesnt matter…it’s been broken for weeks now. No real answers from customer support…just platitudes over and over again. No solution time estimated…just leaving me out to dry. The vestige of the app on a web browser doesnt tell the entire story…like it’s supposed to. So, good bye. This very loyal user has had enough.

### 1/5 — Need a replacement

*2022-10-24, version 6.3.1*

Update: Weeks later, the app still doesn’t work. It is beyond me why anyone would actually take investment advice from a company that can’t make its basic app function.

Old: I LOVED signify for tracking my investments across portfolios. It worked with minor, forgivable glitches for many years. That has changed. Regularly the app just gives an “internal server error” message and is unusable (over a week this time). Even removing and reinstalling the app doesn’t help. On top of that, the data can be wildly inaccurate - particularly when there are stock splits. For 3 months after one split it shows a NEGATIVE investment value of $80 million. I frankly don’t even understand that math that could give that kind of a result. Anyhow, when it worked, it was terrific. But I am giving up and need a replacement.

### 1/5 — Fake reviews?

*2021-10-28, version 6.3.0*

Who are all these people writing glowing reviews? I’ve used this app for the past 5+ years, and it’s current incarnation is pathetic. The portfolio tracker used to work fine with the occasional hiccup, but for more than two years it’s been one major glitch after another, many of which have never been fixed. Off the top of my head, here are a few things that still need to be addressed: - Regularly loses sync with various brokerages, and it often takes them more than a week to fix it. Schwab is the latest, two weeks and counting… - % change in portfolio is way off. Currently the dollar amounts match pretty closely with my brokerage, but the YTD change is 28.7% vs. 9.8%. Other date ranges are also off - No basic data on stocks, such as EPS, Yield, Trading Range - Latest “News” for stocks is from 2020; no news at all for many, many stocks. - Random stocks will sometimes simply have no data at all - Often the App and Widget show different data I’ve reported these and many other issues repeatedly and have only ever gotten the same canned response (sometimes after years): “Our internal team has also noticed this issue and we are currently working to resolve this issue. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have any updates. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an ETA on a resolution at this time. I appreciate your patience as we work through this issue.” I have never once received notice letting me know that they have resolved an issue.

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2021-07-07, version 6.2.3*

I loved this app. T consolidated all my account. Now, it’s been over 6 months since it has failed to link to bank America. I got several email saying the are working on it, but never has changed. I think they just want to sell their management service... Update, it’s been 2 years and they still claim they are working on it. Don’t waste your time as it may not cover you complete portfolio.

Update, it’s now been years and no update. Other portfolio management software works, but not them. I’d be less harsh except they said they work working on it. Hmmm

### 1/5 — Totally unreliable - Broken for more than a month now

*2021-03-09, version 6.2.3*

I’ve been using this app for 5+ years. When the app (and website) works, it’s great. Unfortunately it breaks often. I have been unable to log in on the website or app for more than a month now. Reset password, uninstall the app, restart my device - no thing helps. Customer service was no help either. This is at least the 5th time I’ve had this happen over the years (but so far the longest it’s been down). Really disappointing because I love the service when it works - this is just ridiculous though.

### 1/5 — Return Calculation NOT Accurate

*2020-09-25, version 6.2.3*

Had to delete the account, the TWR calculation was way off. Their system can’t handle margin accounts or stock splits. If you don’t have either in your account than it works great but if you do It will grossly overstate your account value. I reached out to support to get an update to see if they can fix the issue and they just gave me some generic response like we noticed the issue but can’t do anything right now.

It’s a shame that it doesn’t work because I can’t find any app that accurately tracks, portfolio performance via TWR. Don’t get me started with portfolio capital they are just as inaccurate, YouIndex is a joke.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all

*2019-09-12, version 6.2.2*

Update: since two months ago’s update, app doesn’t work at all, just “Oops! Something went wrong while processing your request. Try again”; website works fine, but isn’t mobile friendly. Was an awesome app

Old review: SigFig is really great. It aggregates all of your accounts, and the account info, into a single dashboard so you can see your whole portfolio at a single glance. If you've got multiple accounts and hate signing into every one of them to get a quick view of how you're doing, this is the app for you. There's a paid service too, but I haven't used it.

### 1/5 — You’ve destroyed this app.

*2019-07-25, version 6.2.2*

Used to rely on this app for keeping track of my portfolio almost exclusively. The last 2 updates have been pure crap. Now using Personal Capital as the SigFig app is not virtually unusable. 75% of the time I cannot get the app to open and get the infamous “Try Again” error. When it occasionally does work it does not pull my cost basis correctly and I have to enter it manually. Also doesn’t sync with Robinhood, American Funds, Computershare and some other institutions I feel it should. If you haven’t downloaded this app, don’t bother. It’s not worth the trouble to set it up because it won’t work or give you reliable information most of the time anyway. 2 years ago I would have given this app 10 stars, now, I would give it -1 stars if I could. Stay away, yuck.

### 1/5 — What happened?!

*2019-07-13, version 6.2.2*

Its has been a great app for me - I can consolidate all my accounts and track them without having to go to individual accounts. I have not had any problems with it and It has always worked... it used to be a 5 star app!

Until recently.... Suddenly it stopped working and most of the time it cannot connect and the app just keeps telling me to “try again”...

So what happened sigfig? Its been super frustrating and while I am being patient and see if it improves, I am running out of patience very very soon... please fix asap!!

### 1/5 — Needs backend work

*2019-04-23, version 6.2.0*

I want to love this app. Unfortunately, certain accounts cannot be added for tracking. For example, Merrill Lynch. Despite being featured as a broker to add in the menu of options - the functionality is broken and has been for quite some time. This is a shame because other accounts work fabulously, but the inability to add all your accounts really diminishes the app’s appeal. Without working on fixing support for accounts, SigFig is not a great option to globally track your investments. It can be, but is not. I like the idea of their actual compensated management services too, but inconsistent tech makes me question capabilities.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Sigfig

*2022-09-04, version 6.3.1*

The app is working fine for me. I read some reviews where accounts were not sinking. My investments were not listed in the inventory, but I added manually. The accounts line up with the investment accounts within my platform.

### 5/5 — I like it

*2022-02-28, version 6.3.0*

I like the app but one of my delisted stocks on TD Ameritrade GRPH is super high on SigFig but not reflective in my account in TD Ameritrade still delisted so I have more $$ on SigFig than in my actual trading account.

If the balance was as high in TD Ameritrade as it was on SigFig I would have paid off my car in full last night 😭.

Other than that I love the ease of tracking my main brokers on one app.

### 5/5 — Great Investment Company

*2021-09-07, version 6.3.0*

I have two robo advisors. I was investing with SigFig to compare one with the other and had about the same amount of money in each. And, about the same proportions of stocks and bond funds. I am finding that SigFig rises more on “stock up” days and loses less on the heart dropping days. Both robots are highly acclaimed.

The fact that I have access to an advisor is important to me because I was not sure what to do with the money I wanted to invest. More stock funds? More bond funds? What to do? They were there for me.

I have to say though that I had been watching my investments on their site for a few years before taking the leap. They are also highly rated on “Backend Benchmarking”.

### 5/5 — Growth is what SigFig makes happen!

*2021-08-17, version 6.3.0*

I have been with Sigfig for over two years and I am very pleased with the results, they’ve done a marvelous job balancing my accounts and producing growth throughout the year and I would recommend them to anyone.
Plus their fees are the lowest in the industry.
The congenital staff is savvy to my needs.

### 5/5 — Manual Portfolio

*2021-05-18, version 6.2.3*

First of all I really use and enjoy this app. Currently my problem with lack of support and urgency is my main issue.
I am presently and have been going on three weeks unable to add a stock symbol to a manual portfolio. When the symbol is keyed in, it just sits there until it times out. SigFig has indicated that they are aware of this problem but do not have an estimated time when it will be corrected. I’m sure others are perhaps experiencing this same problem.
Don’t get me wrong, I really do like the app but would like to get this problem resolved as soon as possible. The sooner the better.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and imports other accounts

*2021-04-12, version 6.2.3*

There are a lot of otherwise good stock trackers out there, but most of them require you to enter each trade manually. SigFig import the trades and cost basis from the other accounts to make things easy.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2021-04-04, version 6.2.3*

Was looking for something to display my portfolio and I like the way it offers multiple views. It connected seamlessly to my brokerage account. Delighted it offered in app suggestion that I may have a too concentration in a few of my stocks. Enjoying it.

### 5/5 — Great app, no complaints!

*2020-11-10, version 6.2.3*

Have been with a few other investment firms prior to moving over to SigFig. Have been amazed by how easy to use the app and website are. SigFig also does a great with helping me ‘in the know’ by providing regular trade confirmations, weekly account updates, widgits for iPhone, access to Financial advisors, etc.

### 5/5 — Terrific app; needs a small big fix

*2020-09-22, version 6.2.3*

Definitely happy to have downloaded — very good app!

The syncing though seems to get itself tied up about once a week, and I find the only thing that fixes it is a re-download. Not sure what’s happening to corrupt the local data store.

HOWEVER, even with this inconvenience, it’s an outstanding, ambitious app and very worthy of five stars. Very well done!

### 5/5 — User Friendly

*2020-07-01, version 6.2.3*

Site allows for tracking your personal stock portfolio, excluding preferred stock, with current market data. The site allows for easy updates and deletes, setting up portfolios of holdings by family member w/o exhaustive sign on procedures, flexibility by the user to maintain. Plus it is a free site which also provides investment management if desired.
