## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2024-10-24, version 1.3*

We like this app…… However, there is no ability to customize the duration of the exercise. It is one minute maximum and then it stops.

The developer needs to add a feature to allow the duration to be customizable to the user. For example, stop after five minutes, or stop after eight minutes, or stop after 10 minutes, etc.. I cannot use this app as it I is too disruptive to be stopped every one minute. Although I did purchase the premium app, I will not be renewing as is

### 4/5 — One Problem

*2025-12-25*

Given the fact that the subscription just gives you access to more time options, I feel like it should be a one time purchase instead of a subscription. Oh and you should make it available on the apple watch!

### 5/5 — The fastest way to calm

*2025-08-31*

Cyclic sighs is the fastest way to calm yourself.

But to become “stress proof”, I recommend tons of cardio & HRV biofeedback.

Here’s my protocol:
1. Cyclic sighs (5 mins)
2. HRVB (20 mins)

I do HRVB with mindfulness in the Optimal HRV app for even more benefits.

Quick pro tip:

Stack neuromodulation to shortcut calm.

I personally use Vagus Nerve Stimulation (Hoolest Verelief) and pair it with cyclic sighs.

Try it for a month and see how much it changes your life.

You can also stack PBM, CES, tDCS & bright light therapy for anxiety/depression treatment.

Cold plunges done twice a week for 11 mins total make you even more stress proof.

### 5/5 — Great so far!

*2023-11-03, version 1.2*

I just got it, but so far it’s simple, works well, and is reasonably priced. I recommend!

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2023-08-10*

This is a light-weight but deceptively powerful App. Having stumbled on this method of breathing by accident I can confidently stare that this combined with box breathing has superb results if done daily. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Surprised

*2023-06-24*

Could use some variations of breathing but good start really useful
